called the number back and it stated it was sprint calling with a special promotion

This is a sprint number, as stated in other posts, I called back and chose option 6 to not receive any more "special offers". They do not fall under the do-not-call list if you are a subscriber, because in your contract you sign saying you may be contacted.

Received a call with ID 877-671-1951.  My phone rang twice and they hung up before it went to voicemail.  I called the number back and found that it belongs to Sprint, trying to sell us new services.  UGH.

This is a sales call line for Sprint and Nextel.  

I'm on the do not call lilst & still getting these calls.

It's Sprint.  You call the number back and get a recording trying to sell you another line of service. You can opt out by pressing "6".

Don't know who this is. I do not pick up calls anyway, but they called my cell phone in at about 10am and then called the home phone immediately after..

Received a call on 2/10, "Sprint PCS" to sell another phone.
Received a call on 2/21, 2/20, & 2/19 no answer/no message.

I received a call this morning. Very frustrating. Sprint should not be telemarketing like this. In addition, they sure better not charge me for the call.

received 2/22 @ 10:40 PST.  answered & they hung up on me right away.

Just got the call, too. They hung up once I answered...

I called back 5 times and got same answer 5 times.  Its a sprint telemarketing service that tells you about promotions and current deals, they did not leave a message in my case,  but I was curious to know who called.

Got a call from this number at 1:50 p.m. on Feb. 22, 2007. It is a Sprint/Nextel add a line promotion. So stupid. Call back and press six to opt out.

called at 8:08 pm...did not answer because I did not recognize the number...assume it is is Sprint trying to get me to re-new my contract.  they have called several times this week.

Got a call this afternoon at 4:56pm. I answered but no one responded. I gave it about 15 seconds and reasonable number of "hello" iterations and hung up. They did not call back.

Sprint telemarketing!? Answered the call, no one there. Called back the number from a land line. The recorded voice identified as Sprint attempting to sell services.

Purposely missed the call. Knew it had to be some nonsense like Sprint or sales.

Consistent calls multiple times a day with no message. I am a Sprint customer but am extremely dissatisfied that they do not have the decency to leave a message and that they call during hours that are clearly chargable minutes that detract from my usable minutes.

Just received another call (on my Sprint cell phone) from this number - 1PM on 2/23.  Didn't answer - Assumed it was a telemarketer.

Haven't answered, but get called from this # several times per week
