No, it is not legitimate.  First, debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter so no one will be arrested.  Second, if someone is going to serve someone civil papers, they never call ahead to warn them.  They are just trying to extort money out of you by scaring you

The poster that says anyone who does not pay their bills is a lowlife and bankrupting companies?!  HA!  Nice one!  The same companies and government who also go bankrupt for other reasons and are bailed out for reasons that have NOTHING to do with people not paying their bills!  You have NO idea who or what situation a person may be in that ends up not being able to pay and having to make a choice...starve the children or pay this bill....roof over my head this month or pay this bill.

So many here accusing each other, I pray you are legitimate Adrian and have contacted your attorney. Something needs to be done. I get called all the time and I'm sick of it. At least 1-2 years of phone calls!! My wife has had  numerous surgeries and numerous medical issues, I don't need this crap!!!

I recieved a call on my answering machine. I called them back because I wanted to know. When i refused to give them the last 4 digits of my social guy said he would put down I was nonconpliant. I told him fine since the conversation was being recorded  they will c why. I told him he could b a scam because  a lot was going around. He started fussing.  I asked to speak to his supervisor n he hung up. Time will tell. But I believe it's  a scam. Anyway God's n control and they will get their just reward if they are dishonest.
