this is coming from I guess an inmate at some Washington County jail and I am tired of getting it a blocked number but it goes through my answering service and I'm really tired of getting it cuz I accidentally hit answered and hung up right away

Went to VM and all I heard was a call from county prison. There are no county prisons only county jails OR state prisons. SCAM

Started calling my cell at about 3pm today. In the last 8 hours, this has called my cell 234 times, often within seconds of the last call. This is clearly a robotic phishing attempt that is spoofinf this caller id - although it plays a recording asking you to pay to receive a call, no inmate name or voice is ever heard. I am betting that it is phishing for credit or debit card info from people who have or fear they have friends or relatives in prison trying to call them. Blocked via phone and AT&T’s Call protect and reported.

Called my cell phone.  Wanted me to accept a collect call from a prison.  Said it would cost $14.00.  I hung up.

The fraud here is you may or may not know who is trying to call you.
Just got 5 of these calls and each time it gave a recorded first name of the inmate caller which I knew for a fact I did not know. Could be an inmate who randomly called you and if you accepted making the payment would try to get you to call forward the call. If you were stupid enough to do that, then they could keep selecting the auto option for another 15-minutes and you would never know until you got the bill.

They call me from this number it was my brother I spoke to him for 27  Second  But I did not know in witch jail he on how can I found it

It's a SCAM. Apparently, a prisoner's 1st 20 seconds of each call is free. The prisoner uses that free time, making CALLS to RANDOM #s, trying to GET UNSUSPECTING STRANGERS TO ADD MINUTES TO THEIR PREPAID PHONE CARDS. Some people who know people in jail so they don't question it & fall for the scam. Others may just be so surprised they fall for it.

this service can block the calls from whatever facility that the call originates.  I called them as I know no one in custody or jail.  they were very helpful and identified what facility the call originates and blocked my number. it is a service for inmates to use at a cheaper price but also can be used to scam you.  SO BE WISE

First, I received 2 calls within 2 minutes of eachother.  Voicemail about an putting money into an account.  I deleted the messages and blocked the number.  Well, I guess it was not good enough for whoever.  Within 2 minutes I received 29 calls.  Scammers!

How do I get this number to stop calling me for good

This is a legit call, my boyfriend is currently in jail and tried calling me today but Truecaller auto blocked it. I know it's really him cause I spoke with his mom who said he's tried calling her too from the same number but it's too expensive to talk to him so she never accepts. I unblocked the number so I hope he calls again soon.

There are several criminals out there too..and I can assure you that if you got/get a call from this number, your phone has been hacked..and there is without a doubt some kind of fraud being used on you...

This number called my phones (phoneS) many times, and I can assure you that your phone Is hacked and fraudulent activity is being done to you...

I'm sorry to have to inform you, but this # is being used to hack into phones..I've been thru 22 phones in 2 yrs, had fraud being committed on me..

You made a mistake putting the number in your contscts...this # is being used to hack phones, I've had numerous calls from it, and I just found out why...and FYI when someone hacks your phone, they have to be a contact somewhere, or they cant connect to it...so NEVER put numbers like this in them
