just received a call from this number ... no one would answer, when i repeated the number back, they hung up

this person keeps calling and listening to the greeting of this company
and keeps calling back but will not say a word they have called many times in one day and keep calling this is very annoying

The woman who called simply said "I need to talk to the person who handles your Columbia Gas bill." I said that she had a wrong number and she hung up.

You *might* have better credibility as a shill if you would learn proper grammar and word usage.

Got rid of them by not answering. I'm a bit skeptical as to all the praises sang by "different names" but all on May 1. Might be a little more convincing that it wasn't an employee if "they" all didn't post on the same day! lol.

Funny you say IGS Energy is a scam, they are ranked with an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau with a 98% customer retention rate.  My family has been with IGS Energy and our monthly budget has gone from 97 dollars a month to 78 dollars a month, Id say $220+ savings a year definately isn't a scam. Also if choosing a gas supplier were a scam, the public utilities commission wouldnt have started the customer choice program and your utility company wouldnt mention the program both on your bill and their websites.

Had several calls.  Trying to sell NIPSCO customers a locked in therm price.  Called back & requested to be placed on DO NOT CALL LIST.  Was told "takes about 30 days."

Received call as all have stated above.  Caller hung up as I picked up the phone. Infact both of my lines. I called the number back (1 877 724 5557) and received a recording that all of their lines were busy and to hold, music came on and when it quit that was all nothing more just silence.  I have an all electric home, and do not use gas of any kind.
Sure would like to get a live person to let them know what I have to say about these calls.

I get these calls all the time at my employer. Two weeks ago a female asked to speak to the person responsible for the NIPSCO gas bill. I told her that person was not available and for her to put us on her NO CALL LIST. She called me back and screamed "LISTEN YOU LITTLE B@#$H DON'T YOU EVER HANG UP ON ME!" Then she proceeded to call me 5 more times within a few minutes. Thank goodness our phones shut down at 4:30pm. I called the FTC and reported her. They still call. Customer service must not be a priority...

I just got my new phone number and 877-724-5557 calls everyday, no matter what time of day.....its constant.  They hang up when you answer, so you don't even get a chance to tell them to stop calling.....but now that I know who is calling, (IGS Energy), I am going to persue further and file harrassment charges against them......I work third shift and sleep is rare for me, so when I can get it, I don't need to be awaken by some phone call that has no intention of even talking to me.  Where are our rights?

Someone called claiming to be from Interstate Gas Supply. Istarted asking questions-he hung up. I did some browsing on the internet. I found a firm called Interstate Gas Marketing. They have a number listed as 877-724-4657 for partnership info. Their website is interstategas.com  Their address is 28 north scott street,carbondale PA 18407. The phone number is very close.

I answered no one said anything...i called right back got a recording that the number no longer in service.

Asked to speak to person who handles MichCon (Michigan Consolidated Gas) Bill.  I told her that there is no such company MichCon they went out of business about 20 years ago and to stop calling me.

these are natural gas supplier scams,soon to be outlawed by several states,just hang up on them.

better yet,why don't you just put your number on the national do not call list?

You must own stock in IGS because they are a SCAM. I recieved a letter stating I they would switch me and my rate would always be lower than the utility's rate. Guess what? My rate now is $30.00 more than the utilities rate. I hope you know how to read your bill because you are probably getting ripped off and don't even realize it.
