- Samantha replies to Lynne| 2 repliesIm glad you left this comment. Ive been getting calls from them for the last week. She gave a name and some company Ive never heard of. She kept announcing the call was being recorded and wanted me to confirm my name, dob, and address claiming to need to send me a document. When I asked what document she just replied "we'll go over that in a little while". I Googled the numbers (multiple) she's called from but nothing pops up. I have no idea who she is or what she wants. Its the most irritating thing ever.
- Samantha MFor the last week or so I have been getting calls from a lady (Stephanie) who will state her name and just said some random company the first couple of times she called. Finally this last time I just answered she gave the name Everest. She was asking for my full name my date of birth and my address and kept saying that the phone call was being recorded. I have never heard of her or that company. She claimed she needed to mail me a document but wouldnt say what it was for, who it was from, or what it was about. Didnt confirm anything and just hung up. I Googled the numbers (shes called from multiple) and no info pops up. BEWARE!!!! Also a man named Steve called from the same number

- sarah replies to SamanthaWe've been getting calls too about a property in Cali. Don't live there, never been there. They want me to give out my SS#. Not gonna happen. Total scam. Phone # they call from is always in my area code
- Lisa replies to SamanthaJust got a call from this lady. Told her the person didn't live hee anymore.
- AnonymMy husband received a call from this company for 3 days in a row now. They are asking for him to verify my address and last 4 of my SS#.
He refused and told them even if he knew the last 4 he wasn't telling. I have never, before today, heard of this company. I owe no current dept. I have a few that have "fallen off due to age" but those are irrelevant. If they have his number, wouldn't they have my number? They also are getting very tricky. They didn't use an 800 type number. They have now resorted to using a local area code and prefix so that the call won't be blocked or you notified that it's a scam call. My children and I have all gotten calls recently with the caller using a local area code and prefix with a travel deal for staying in one of their resorts. Never in my life have I stayed in a resort and neither has my young child. My town is not that big. If your company is here, I would know about it! Do not answer unfamiliar numbers. My rule, if your not in my contacts, I probably don't know you. If I do happen to know you, you can leave a message and I will call you back. If you leave me a BS number to return the call, your getting blocked and reported to the FTC https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0076-phone-scams. Please always do this. The government needs the info so they can stop these criminals. What if they called your little old grandma? Let's stop this! Also, You can register your numbers on the national Do Not Call list by phone or on the Internet at no cost.
