Me too...I did call, but after 5-7 minutes on hold I hung up, and did not use my cell phone to call so these idiots have my number!

I plan to contact the Federal Communications Commission, which is something everyone should do. Unfortunately many people are hurting and are financially desperate and venerable hoping for anything which they think may be free, but end up making money for these scammers.  Please take a little time to report these scams and lets all help each other out. Go to your computers and type in FCC Consumer Complaints and fill out the information.  It doesn't take much to file a complaint and worth the time and effort to stop scams of any type. If we don't stop them who will?

Do you think the postage stamp is ligit?
Was this card properly processed through the mail system?
Check out the stamp cancellation.  Is this normal?
I can barely make out the first line as East Texas ????? by holding the card at an angle.

I got the same green card with a package number ending in 6632.  Tried to research the number, but came up with nothing.  I called and waited for someone to pick up the phone, but there was a click and I hung up immediately.  I figured it probably was trying to get information on my phone number.  I am definitely throwing this away!

With same description that everyone is saying where the post mark is smudged and 28 cents postal stamp.
Throw this card away, and DO NOT CALL the number, it is some kind of a scam.

I got the post card today 7/1/10 and also live in West Michigan. It's designed to look as though it is to be picked up at the Post Office. One has to wonder how many people call the number thinking just that. I had recently requested and received travel info from the State of Texas. Until reading the responses here, I thought it might be related to that. Tried the number... busy.

I received the green postcard today 7/1/10 and I am also throwing it away especially after reading everyone else posts. Like one of the others said got to love the internet, look how much info we all can share.  
My card did not even have a return address on it at all, but it also did come from East Texas and the stam does look ligit.

Sure looks like a scam to me.  I too received the green postcard today 7/1/10 and will thow it away.

No company name (hiding something?), the 877 number is not registered (hiding behind a "free" call), and post mark is "East Texas" (not sure the city even exists,besides if the zip is correct 73731 that is a town in OK, not TX!),    The only legitimate thing is the Postage Stamp (required for US Postal service to deliver the little green card).

I received the green card today (7/1/2010) as well. The return address is smudged but looks like East Texas Padc TX 75731 sent on 28 JUN 2010 PM. The stamp is only 28 cents if you look closely at it. My package number was 1113-1568-1927. When I first read the postcard, the business was closed. It's a good thing my girlfriend and I are nosy and wanted to look it up, thanks to everyone here I am throwing it away!

Ann Arbor, 7/1/10 - green postcard smudged return address, must be a scam or marketing.   Pretty sure we don't all have unexpected packages to pick-up.

Got the same thing today and threw it away after reading the posts above.

I just received the same green postcard today, too.  The number to call is (877) 766-1235 with a package # and the hours listed.  What I can make of the "return" address is East Texas (there's something after that), then "TX (with a zip I can't read...looks like 75731)"  then "02 Jul 2010 PM"  I'm obviously not going to call, but what can we do about this?  I'm guessing total scam, but I'm going to hang on to it until I figure out (or someone has a suggestion) of who to contact to complain about this.

Same description as others - green postcard, smudged "East Texas" postmark.  Absence of company name was suspicious, so I did the google search.  Oh how I loathe deception!

7-6-2010  received Green Postcard from east Texas (smudged) with the same Phone number like everyone else. Will be reporting it.

Guess they moved from west michigan to east michigan. same as everyone else. throwing it away!!!

I got the green card dated July 2 from East Texas, I'm in Northwest Ohio. Package # ends
with 4643. No company name----gonna throw it away,  maybe ask PO about it.

I also got the green postcard. Live in SE Michigan. I contacted the post office to report possible mail fraud at:

I got a green card with same phone number(877-766-1235), with the East Texas Post Office cancelation with package number 1113-8949-5985. Looks phishie--no return address, but with a polar bear 28 cent stamp. I won't call, but will hang onto until one of you let me know what I should do. It would be a hoot if I am responding to this card and falling into their scam by leaving this message here. Ha! Ha!
