Yes, The same thing with a package No.1113-5568-9465. I live at Evanston, IL. THE GUY CAME AND KNOCKED MY DOOR VERY, VERY HARD EVEN THAT I HAVE A RING BELL DOOR! WELL, HE ASKED ME IF I HAVE 2 DISNEY BOXES CABLE, AND I TOLD HIM I DON'T KNOW MY HUSBAND, IS NOT HERE, SO HE TOLD ME HE WILL COME TOMORROW TO PICKED THEM AND NEXT DAY HE DIDN'T CAME. AND WE DINDN'T ORDERED NOTHING FROM UPS, AND EITHER EXPECTING SOMETHING FROM NO BODY!!!! EVERY THING WAS SO WEIRD UNTIL I READ HERE AT THE INTERNET ABOUT EVERY ONE REPORTING IT. SO, I ALSO SAW THE UPS TRUCK WITH THE BIG LETTERS JUST THE SAME AS THE OTHERS AND THE GUY WAS USING HIS UNIFORM BUY I ALSO SAW SOME KIND OF LABEL BETWEEN THE PAPERS THAT HE GOT ON HIS HANDS SAYING "EAST TEXAS" WELL, HOWEVER LET'S REPOR IT. IN MY OPINION THEY TRY TO STEAL I TOLD MY HUSBAND AND HE SAID THAT'S WHY HE DIDN'T CALL SO THESE IDIOTS DON'T HAVE OUR PHONE NUMBER. IF YOU TRY TO CALL IS KIND OF NOISY . IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND I DID IT, BUT USING A CODE SO THEY DON'T HAVE OUR NUMBER..

Green card, no address, no postmark. Package # ends in 9727. I wondered if it were a trick to get served with papers... I'm glad I found these postings from all of you. Throwing mine away.

Scam “Delivery” Package
Offer Hits West Michigan

The BBB of Western Michigan warns ALL regional residents that a SCAM OFFER has been mailed to hundreds of consumers. The “postcard” claims to be a “package” that could not be delivered to you during the Christmas season and claims, “Sorry we missed you!!!”

Instructions are to “Call to schedule pickup”. After calling the number, consumers are asked for the twelve-digit pickup number and then told that they have a free vacation package. Consumers are then asked for a credit card number to pay for a, “…nominal delivery fee,” which must be paid in advance.

Consumer complaints allege the company is sending out a card by mail, which claims in red letters, “SORRY WE MISSED YOU”, and also in bold letters, “CALL TO SCHEDULE PICKUP”.

On calling the number, the consumer is:

   * asked for 12 digit pickup number on card
   * asked for credit card number to pay for a “nominal” delivery fee which must be paid in advance
   * consumers state EPD is using deceptive marketing tactics, since there was no attempted delivery
   * also calling the EPD number reveals your home phone number to them, even if the number is on the DO NOT CALL list
   * EPD has 4 unanswered complaints (3 in Michigan) and an “F” rating already at the BBB. As this offer just arrived in west Michigan, it appears our region was the first targeted.

Ken Vander Meeden, BBB of Western Michigan President, stated:

“I received this offer at my own home and immediately checked it out at www.bbb.org as it looks, acts, and certainly is very deceptive and misleading. As many people expect package deliveries during the holidays, it certainly garners attention immediately. This is a flat out scam to sell vacation certificates and gain access to credit card information. Our alert needs to be publicized in all 38 counties in west Michigan before significant losses are incurred. As law enforcement is difficult for false advertising, we encourage all consumers to file complaints at www.bbb.org. While they have an “F” BBB Business Rating, more research is being done to assist law enforcement in getting involved in this offer.”

So there you have it!  I guess they are at it again.

Definitely a scam.  Do NOT call the number.  If you do, they will get your number from Caller ID and probably sell it to junk mailers and telemarketing firms.  [***].  I hate this kind of [***]--I wish the penalty for running these scams was hard jail time.

I received the green card.  FYI, I assume it's junk but I did have a return address that was not smudged:  Express Package Delivery, PO Box 820, Whitehouse, TX  75791.

I got the green post card asking us to schedule pickup of a package for us.  I figured it was a scam but i made the phone call.  After waiting on hold for 5 minutes, they said, "Yes, we have a vacation package waiting for you."  (Yea, been there, done that), so I said, "O, you've got to be kidding me."  Yup, she hung up me.  Knew i was on to it.

Got green post card with return address EXPRESS PACKAGE DELIVERY PO BOX 820 WHITEHOUSE, TX 75791 called 877-766-1235 and was put on hold, for a very long time.

File a complaint with the FTC it only takes 2 to 5  minutes, recieved the same Express pakage delivery notice today.  What a bunch of &^*&@#  Scam Scam Scam  Alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I called and it a a vacation club. Globel Travel Service. They want to offer you a "free" vacation for attending a meeting in Ann Arbor at 5400 Data Court Suite 200.

I got the same green postcard in the mail today.  The return address is:

Received green postcard with return address "Express Package Delivery".  Postage is first-class presort, so it is most certainly bulk mail.

As an unsolicited item, I was not inclined to call.  Prior posts on this board confirm.

I did not get a phone call but a green postcard telling me to call the above-mentioned number.  Supposedly the call is to schedule a pickup of a package from Express Package Delivery in Whitehouse, TX.  This is nothing I ordered so I am sure this is a scam.

I received the green card today and I live in Merritt Island,  FL.  They used 877=766-1235.  Pkg# 1115-6910-3709  Track:03021-04
