I got a call from this company earlier today (from 657-218-5597) on my cell phone; the woman left a message saying it was Dynamic Recovery Solutions and that they were a debt collector, and needed to discuss a serious matter with me. It went on to say to call 877-821-1657 to take care of the matter & then repeated the 877# again. I have no idea who they are calling for since they did not ask for anyone. There has got to be a way to get this company to stop calling from so many different #'s around the country.

I just got a call on my cell from 267-546-5855 and also left the message with a stern voice , told me to call the # 877-821-1657 , I am separated but still am best friend to my husband , while I got this call I call him and told him the situation , he told me he didn't check his cell phone message , he called me back to tell me they call him too but with a different phone # 1-888-356-8277 , the message was the same has mine , Home improvement . I call with the # that they told me to call and ask me for my name, I ask them who are you looking for? They said my name , not only that but also my last 4 # of my social security card , they told me that I have an outstanding deft of 6,000.00 since 1995 with City financial Visa card , I never had a visa Card in my life ,I told them, then after that I said " you are not to bother me since I fall bankrupt " they ask me when? I told them the year and they hung up". First of all I use to live in the USA and then  move back to my Home in Canada in the year 1993 ,  and they told me that I had a visa credit card in 1995 .  It didn't  make since , I did not give them any personal info , but what  bugs me is that they knew my last 4 digits of my social security #.  I search to a site Dynamic Recovery Solution because when I called that 877# that is what it was answered to me , Counselor at Law call Ely , and said , this is a copy and past " So while they can try to collect, they are limited both in what they can say, and they cannot even file on you since the statute is out of limitations. At this point, you may want to get their address, and write them a quick letter (to the manager, not the agent, and also to the president) stating all I have said and also adding that if they contact you again, you will contact an attorney to SUE them for FDCPA (they'll know what it is - believe me). Now they have not done anything to warrant a suit yet, but just the threat of one scares any reasonable collection company.

Chances are, 95%, that upon receipt of that letter, they will back off, close your file, and decide you are not worth it" Hope that helps , I know it will help me if they call back! These calls are a scam , DO Not GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFO WHAT SO EVER. Has for my husband  I don't live with him  but like I said we are great friends, he call as well , and they knew a lot more about him, he could not believe how much. Today it is easy for those people to search on the internet for a credit bureau and get any information , also easy to check a name on the internet and you get the family tree, if they can't get one person they get a member of the family who will believe them , for example ; a seniors that don't know any better. Good Luck to all and hope that helps you .

    BEWARE!! SOCIAL ENGINEERING!!

Think about it- they call you, leave a message with no reference number or other identifier. You call back the number. They need to "look you up in their system" So they ask you for the phone number they called you at. So you give it to them. Then they say "well, that number doesn't come up in our system, do you have another number we may have reached you at?" And then you give them that number. And guess what? That number is not in their "system" either. So then they ask you for your name. They now have not one, but TWO of your phone numbers and your name. Yes, both of those pieces of information are publicly found, but who knows what the next question would have been. I have one guess. Your Social Security number. Can you see where this is going?? This "Debt Recovery Company" is using SOCIAL ENGINEERING to gather non-public information about you. The big distraction here is that you think you owe someone some kind of debt- but what they are really doing is gathering your personal information, likely for identity theft. HANG UP!!

Woman called my cell a few moments ago, and said she was from "Recovery Debt Solutions".  I am a little concerned after reading these other posts that they are using other names and phone numbers. I do not owe money to anyone, so I am taking this as a scam call. Please do not give any of your info to anyone. After the Target breach over December, I am getting some weird texts and phone calls.

I just had two phone calls back to back from the same number, but even though my phone lists the call originating in my State (Utah), the Area Code is not a Utah Area Code (we only have two). Then I get a voicemail message which the beginning of is cut off and all I get is a phone number and "I would appreciate it," then the number is repeated and a "thank you for your cooperation." I decided to Google the number they left me and it led me here.
I have had experience with another scam from Stanley and Associates out of Colorado. They use the exact same tactics.
My gut told me it wasn't on the up & up. I hope someday we can all live in peace from these scammers trying to steal from us hard working, tax paying Americans. This is ridiculous!

I received a call as well from "dynamic Recovery Solutions" - the woman who left the message was quite pleasant, but they make no mention of who they are calling, or why - just "an urgent matter" - a zombie debt company trying to talk people into paying someone elses long written off debt  - If they can't tell you who or why...it is a scam -

Calling my teen daughters phone  daily saying they are trying to collect a debt. I have read 20+ reviews that report this as a scam. We tried to call back and get the run around or placed on hold with no answer.

I got a message on my VM from a lady saying that she has to discuss a serious matter and that she's a from a  debt collection agency.  I know this is fake because I do not have any debt.  Reading all these reports about the same annoying calls from this number just confirmed my suspicions.  I'm so happy this website exists.

This number was left as a call back number. Caller id number is,  9737182711.Well at least they left a message on the answering machine.  It was a woman who said she was a debt collector, had a serious matter to discuss, and would appreciate the cooperation. She didn't mention any name of who she wanted to talk to.
I hate that they call when I'm expecting my kids home from school, but thankfully I have a cell and caller id on both.
    Go scam someone else.

I got the same call/message and was fooled into thinking I forgot to pay a bill.  I called the 877 number and waited for the next available rep.  After being on hold for a few cycles, I hung up.  I wanted to know what company may have missed my payment and found this site.  Thanks for all the posts.

Demand a legitimate, physical address in which to dispute the debt. If they refuse, let them know you will be seeking legal counsel who will get it for you.

Received call from 916-281-0779.  Rude lady saying she had serious matter to discuss.  Wanted us to call back or go into office by end of day.  She said she was from DRS.  I asked what that stood for and she ignored my question.  Apparently, its a debt collector...funny because I have no debt in collections.  It's annoying.  Anyone know how to stop these calls?
