This number calls me at least 5-6 times a day! When the phone calls first started, they were EVERY SINGLE HOUR, starting at 8am and ending like at 9pm, even on Saturdays and Sundays! I have an account with them and always pay on time and in full, so I do not know what they want. They dont even leave a message. I just sent them a letter asking them to stop calling me, and that if I do owe them money, to simply send me a bill (I know I dont owe them anything, I pay my balances in full every month).

They are so annoying!!!!! Yesterday, I picked up one of their many daily calls, and told the person that Im not interested in what theyre selling and hung up. Guess what? I got another call about an  hour later! I picked it up and hung up without saying anything...same thing this morning. These people need to be stopped!

These people call everyday starting at 8 am going until 9 pm. One day they call 11 times. They are very rude. Some calls are hang ups. I don't have any credit with these banks.

I get 10 - 12 calls a day from this number and I have no business with this bank at all. I'm usually working when they call, but when I do pick up, there's silence and hangups. I just got woken up on my day off by this nonsense but I don't know what to do about it.

He is late on his credit one payments and obviously wants it kept secret.  Never give out someones private information to anyone, ie you offered his cell number.  It is a violation of their privacy.  Everyone can have credit problems, remember these companies can be deceptive and also a hox.

When I was a collections rep, the second most common response to my call was "he doesn't live here anymore."  Call center's buy a batch of data and must make a certain number of those calls work in order to make money.  If a collections rep closed every call that said "he doesnt live here anymore," they would lose lots of money.  Each rep has his quota and abandoned calls are a sin.  Thus, they call again, and again, and again with the hopes that they get in contact with the party they are seeking.

You are protected by federal laws that involve collections practices.
When they call again, ask for the company name, a contact number, the representatives name, and then ask to escallate the manager.  They must identify themseves but they often disconnect.  If they dont, explain to the manager that you have told representatives that this person does not live there and you do not wish to be called.  Ask for the contact address of the company and the full name of the manger.

If you are still dissatisfied you can file an FTC Complaint regarding the collections practices.  Use the names of the call center representative and the call center manager in the complaint.  Track the dates they call afterwards and update the complaint  You will get a case number from the FTC online, and keep the case number.  Also get on the donotcall.gov and ftc.gov they have information about what to do.

    Good luck,

    Steve

They have called about 3x/day for the past 2 weeks.  Every time I pick up, all I hear is a recording telling me to call them back.  I've ignored these many times, but finally decided to call them back hoping someone would pick up so I could tell them to stop calling.  Unfortunately, when I called them back, all I could get was a recording repeatedly asking for my social security number!

so i got a call from this number and it was credit one bank.  my problem is they called at 0800 on a saturday...the person Bertha said that I could pay 70.00 and they would not charge me a fee to pay over the phone.  I told her it was 0800 on Saturday!!!! I was hungover and pissed and i told her to not call that early.  She said your payment is late...I told her that it was not because my payment was due that day and to not call as I was going to pay my bill online.  She continued on telling me that it was 0800 her time and she was at work since 0430 and that it was not her problem.  That pissed me off more and I called back later to talk to a supervisor but of course none was available and they would "call me back" which did not happen.  I am still pissed off....so I think I will call them again today to complain.

they call for a Susan at my home number. It seems to be a recording, I'm at work and miss there call.  I try to call the number to tell them they have the wrong person. But I don't have Susan S.S. # or her account #.
I don't have them for any credit cards. So if this can get to them tell them to stop calling me.

Good lord!!!!  I just called my home phone to pick up my messages.  This particular number came up 9 times within a span of 3 hours.  Started at 8.19a, 8.33a;8.44a;9.18a;9.29a;9.51a;10.27a; 10.47a;11.28a.  When they called, the v.m. would pick up, but there would be no messages.. I'm thinking this is early, we've got the rest of the day to contend with...
having them call this many times, this is a form of harrassment-is it not???

I set up a payment with them for $40 thinking I would pay it early - however taxes came due so I called
back to change date and then they said they couldnt talk to me about his account. HELLO - What were they doing the first time they called.  VERY RUDE - Never set up anything with them unless it is by an online payment where you can edit it

This place calls 6-7 times a day starting at 8am. Very rude and disrespectful of them to just hang up on us. I am looking for ways to have this number blocked. I can never spend a day in peace from their disrupted calls.
