It looks like this phone # is in use again. Many calls from this number. I called it back and told girl to remove it from there listing, I also call blocked.

I am SO sick of these calls that I just put my "Cradle Of Filth' playlist of full volume and play it back to these [***] every time as they call!

*ON* full volume , I meant.

I got so many calls from this number  everday.When I say hellow no answer. Sometimes got voice mails but it was blank. Who is this and why  they do this?

From the posts here, it seems like there is more than one credit card company that calls out to people.

One of those is Merrick Bank and yes, they do call. Thank you to the people who let the rest of us know what you found out.From experience they call 7 days a week.

Debts are being reorganized so if anyone who's having problems can get in with a *Reputable* (because not everyone is) agency that will help you with debts I do recommend it - takes a while but cuts down on the 7-day-a-week routine. Yes, they do call if you owe and that's to be expected, BUT it is how they handle themselves that really makes a difference how consumers measure your response to their problems.I know they are doing a job, Professionalism matters. I worked retail for years and it makes a difference. When you don't know a person's situation, rudeness DO NOT HELP!! Get it??

I know everyone's situation isn't the same. There are also people who have nothing to do with Merrick Bank, or any other bank that these people at the call center ring up the general public for. How about doing a little research first to make sure you have the right people. The working public are busy trying to keep their lives afloat, and don't need any sales for stuff they wouldn't use.

I've seen enough certain posts from posts from "Obvious Persons" stating the "If you pay your bills they won't call you" bologna. From reading the posts here, they ALSO call to *sell* AND also call people whose numbers belonged to persons who didn't pay, and they are stuck with the task of trying to convince the people who sometimes just don't get it that they are NOT the responsible party.

I take it that this is one call center who is staffed with people who call people for different cards and some people sometimes do NOT know phone etiquette, or even how to deal with customers.

These people are a joke. They raised my interest rate and cut my credit limit for no reason. Never paid late, never went over my limit. I told them when they got greedy and did it they would not receice a dime from me.
So why do you keep calling my voice mail number all day? Did you think I was joking when I said I would not pay?
I too reserve the right to change the terms and conditions on my account............. My new terms are NO MONEY FOR YOU MERRICK !!! Keep ringing my extra line that is never answered......... What a bucnch of dume A#@#!*&^%%$

This # continues calling incessently.. There is no reason.  This number comes under numerous names.  This is something that we should be able to report and stop this annoyance.

What can be done to stop this disturbance.

Merrick bank. They call when you're late on payments.

They call my cell and house phone all the time. They will not leave a message and when u call back they want to know what card ur calling about. Really starting to make me wonder what is going on here. I'm on the don't not call list but I guess that is a joke to along with this company.

They are pissing me off. They will not leave a message on any phone. Sure makes you wonder if this isn't a scam... So tired of this kind of [***]. If its a business why don't they call from there own number instead of going with this 1-800-service. Everytime I do answer its for something different or noone wants to talk to you. Getting really old. I'm on the don't call list..... I have asked them to stop calling my cell phone and they keep saying they have taken me off of there list but yet they call 5 times a day.

Made my regular payment today (today is the due date) but they called 12 times and did not leave a message. Has to be laws against harassment

Orchard Bank. They call from multiple numbers. They call on the hour, every hour, to my cell, to my home. Never mind that my monthly bill was paid A WEEK AGO.

I get a call from this number contantly but once I give them my company greeing it disconnects.... annoying.

I hope merrick bank closes, they pursue those is a high risk with high interest rates, monthly fees, and yearly fees. I SAY WE ALL STOP PAYING AND PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS

Merrick Bank called me saying someone at with my phone number needed to reconcile an account with them. I've had my number for over 4 years and the person they had on my account did not match my name or my wife's name. I have no account with Merrick Bank.

I receive a call about 4-8 times a day please don't call me either my work or at home. Its very annoying calling me all the time. Wishing to quit calling I will send my payment anytime soon. It just that my financial problem. I will make payment anytime soon just stop calling ok.

I have a new phone number and as soon as I got this number I received multiple calls per day from this number.  I answer and am told to stay on the line for a representative.  I stay on the line for 30 seconds or so and then it automatically hangs up on me.  I set the phone down and less than a minute later they call again.  I cannot get an actual person on the line to explain this isn't my number and to STOP CALLING!!

Dont know who they are or what the want. Tried to explain they have the wrong person. Then they as if I had a credit card with several companies and I said no. I don't use CC but they still call. wHAT assh****.
