Called me everyday for 2 weeks and did not leave a message. I called to verify the number with Verizon. They stated that this is NOT one of Verizon's numbers. I went to my account settings and blocked the number. I had Verizon add a note to my account incase there are any fraudulent charges in the future.

I answered this call finally, too. Said it was Verizon. Asked if I received data usage alerts about my recent data upgrades and I explained how it was only temporary, but yes, and how those alerts saved us from getting hit with overage charges. She said "glad to hear it. " She already had all phones numbers on my acct and appeared to be able to view exact usage amts in new billing cycle. She never asked for a passcode or any other personal info. Said she could set my data usage back to where I wanted starting next billing cycle and we were done. Seemed perfectly legit, cuz I never gave her any personal info at all.

Receive many calls from this number.  After reviewing this website, I determined they were an unofficial rep of Verizon.  I answered the call for the first time, with the intent of telling them to remove me from their list.  They asked for me by name, and when I responded "Yes", they hung up.

Yes, they are calling me too!  Thanks to this page, I put them on my "REJECT" list.  Don't want to upset my day by talking to one of these idiots.

Gettings lots of calls from this number lately. Never leaves any messages.

I called verizon and they verified this is a fake number.  I'm filing a complaint to FCC to get those guys busted.

Called this AM, as they do periodically, left no message.  I called them back from a restricted number and your first clue that something is amiss is the answering BOT does not say who they are, only that calls will be monitored for quality assurance. The second BOT that comes on says they are calling about recent "overages" on your verizon account and want to save you money.   Best guess is they are a third party telemarketer who may or may not have a tacit nod or tolerance from verizon to harass its customers.  Call verizon directly if you are concerned about your bill, they will be happy to review it  often can save money and you will have no worries about some call center in Scamastan trying to get your personal information or screwing up your accout.  Happily have added this number to my call blocking

I missed call from 877 861 1652, called back and they answered as Verizon Wireless, asked for my name and i hung up!

I dialed 611 after this number called stating the were verizon. Luckily my husband asks me to handle all verizon calls and told them I would call them back. I dialed 611 from my cell (I know that's verizon). They infiormed me that no Verizon personnel has called and verified this is,in fact, a scam!

This number has called me everyday for a week.  They never leave a message.  I finally blocked their number.  I deal with Verizon directly at one of their retail stores.

I've gotten 7 calls from this number this month. When I answered once they immediately asked for my dad even though this number isn't his cell phone number but mine. I hung up before he could say anything else.

It is Verizon Wireless at this number. They called me about my son's phone running my data over the limit. The were offering me an option to reduce the overage charges before the billing cycle cut off. Returned the call and it was to Verizon

Received 3 calls from this number within 15 minutes, wanted to verify my Verizon id. Hung up all 3 times. Don't give out personal info to scammers!

This scammer has called my cell phone twice in two days!  I'd like to know how they got my number!  They must have gotten a Verizon client list somehow...why haven't we gotten a fraud alert from Verizon?
