I used to get prerecorded calls from Paul Black on another number.  Since I was on the do not call list, and he was using prerecorded messages, I complained to the on the do not call website and the calls stopped.
Today I got a call from 877-865-9816, but no message was left, so maybe this one is not pre-recorded.  
I don't have any debts that are behind, so I shouldn't be getting calls from a collection agency.  Apparently, DoNotCall, does not apply to collection agencies.  But does apply to pre-recorded calls.

He also uses the name Melvin Lee...He left a message on my phone looking for my 76 year old mother who has been in a nursing home for 2 years..I'm not calling him back. My mother does not have any debts. He needs to stop now!!!

DO NOT CALL or pick up ever ! The key is to work around it, it'll keep happening from now on till you change your number. They don't care if you're on a do not call list, They are bottomfeeders who can't hold a real job, so they look at something that will forever be available to that type. It's a real shame that some who have manner's will call or even pick up to try to explain they are not who they are calling for.

This number calls me one time every morning it has done it for thw past week i dont answer any 800 calls and they never leave a vm is so annoying.

I love the fact that they claim legal documents are ready to be delivered, so they want to make sure thay got the right number/address, REALLY ????
What legal office has a 877/800/866 number to call them back on, and are going to give you a heads up !!

Recently started getting endless calls throughout the ENTIRE week throughout the ENTIRE day for 2 weeks now from 1-877-865-9816. This horrible person is clearly pulling an annoying scam trying to manipulate the homeowners into believing they owe a debt. The same gut calls and is wasting space on my answering machine, but isn't requesting a specific person or leaving any details about the debt in question. No one in my home owes anything to anyone so this person calling throughout the ENTIRE day and ENTIRE week is even more infuriating, disrespectful and shameful. How rude of aggressively call someone's home and basically try and bully unspecified people into believing they owe a debt to whoever this guy is.

how did he get our number?!! He called first time today twice. Someone stop him from these annoying indecent calls. If Paul Black is a real person he can/will be arrested for this, if someone reports his calls.

I have now received 2 voicemails from this company saying they are Leading Edge Debt Recovery. They do not say who they are calling for. I have no debt in recovery so they must be looking for someone who used to have my number. When you call back the number you cannot get a hold of anyone. I left a message to give them a chance to remove my name before I report them for harrassment.

I get recorded messages from this "debt collection" agency daily.  Sometimes multiple times per day.  The number they are calling is a magicJack phone number that I was assigned when I purchased the magicJack phone device.  Apparently the prior owner of the phone number was on their list.  I have reported them to the Government DO NOT CALL list multiple times, to no avail.  The DO NOT CALL LIST - DOES NOT WORK!!!!

I have all the harassing messages recorded on magicJack voice mail.

Just received a call from this number. Actually left a message saying Leading Edge Recovery, debt collector. Was polite on the message. What a shock.

Called on my cell phone, then claimed to have spoken to my mother on the very same line!  Obvious liars.

They also claimed that my cell phone number was revealed to them by looking up my name in "the directory," whatever that is supposed to mean!

Please stop calling my number! I don't know who you are looking for.

Message on VM from "Jenny Moran" of Leading Edge Recovery Solutions. Called ID shows "Unavailable" 877-865-9816. I called the number and a woman gave me the name of the person they're looking for. When I told her she had  the wrong number, she said, "Do you know her, by any chance?" I replied, "No, I don't know her, by any chance."

A recorded message is left on my VM up to a dozen times a day saying to call "Paul".  I've spoken with an actual person telling me they will garnish my SS Disability for a 'payday' advance loan from 2004.  They refuse to send anything in writing.  So I guess if they decide to garnish my income they will have to put something in writing at that point.  Until then I get dozens of calls from a recorded message per day and finally today an actual person, Vanessa, left a message, used my actual name and gave a number to reach her but doesn't state the nature of the call... just to call about important information regarding my account.  What account?  I'm guessing its a debt collector.

funny, just uot of the blue these calls are coming to my home phone? I am subcribed to on the donot call list but.....and i do not have any debts outstanding so guess what? I will not answer and if I know what time they call ... my phone will be disconnected...

I just received a call 5 minutes ago from this number and spoke to an actual person as soon as I picked up. Currently whomever is using the number now, is using it for donations to the kids leukemia and cancer foundation.

Whoever called my residence left a voice mail message that consisted ONLY of the phone number 8778659816. There was no name, no company name, not even a request to call this (or any other) number back. The entire text of the voice mail was 8 7 7 8 6 5 9 8 1 6. I wish the caller well if he expects a return call from me, because I DO NOT CALL ANYONE THAT DOES NOT CLEARLY IDENTIFY THEMSELVES
