- jazmineI get frequent calls from this number (877-874-5811) and they seem to ask for a female with a strange first name the likes of which I've never heard. The same message comes from a number 415 363 5624. I believe these are call centers, perhaps in peoples homes, with housewives trying to earn a few bucks. They may use different "outcall" numbers, some days representing the college finder service, some days representing a service provider. They may also represent collection agencies, maybe those agencies who buiy up old debts. So I blocked them.

- RomanI hate when somebody call from this number all day and never leave the message. The person call me morning, evening and also at night.
- SarahThey called at least 8X on a Sunday from 9am-9pm. We asked them to stop calling as NOT interested, on Do Not Call Registry, and a private #. They keep calling every day, numerous times a day and are rude. It is total harassment at this point and considering a lawyer to take care of this. Not only did we not ever contact them, but we have zero interest.

- captain hindsiteMy friend says that it is a telemarketer and that they automatically dial three or so numbers at once and which ever number answers first gets to talk to the telemarketer and the other numbers just get silence.
- Cassie HStop Calling me !
- Lynne Exner| 1 replyDo not call this number any more.
Take my name off of your calling list - Nancy RaffaThis phone number continues to call my cell phone. I have not picked it up and I just updated on the "Do not call" list.
- ChuLolli| 1 replyThe Do Not Call will most likely not work, here's what you should do instead:
On your phone, select that number, and add it to your block list. (It can also be titled reject list, or other things). If you cannot find out, just check your phone manual, or contact support.
This should help as it did for me. - Shawn| 2 repliesThey have been calling me for weeks now. When I told them to stop calling and that I was on the National Do Not Call List, I was told they don't care, they don't use that list. These people are idiots, I even called my local Police Dept, and made a report or harrassment, and was told there was nothing that they could really do other then call them theirself and tell them to stop. Thanks Los Angeles Sheriffs Dept, you guys are losers and idiots too.
- ACB| 3 repliesI got at least three calls from them while I was in school today. I know some may suggest that I turn my phone off during school. Well who does that?!? My mom and I have beeen texting eachother while I am in school so I can get information about college. I cannot turn my phone off! One simple vibration to lt me know that I recieved a text can be easilly ignored by everybody else but the continuous buzzing from my phone can result in my phone being taken away. These ppl are so inconsiderate.

- ACB replies to ACB| 2 repliesOh, they just called again. Lets play a little game. I wanna see how many times these [***] will call my phone before i throw my phone before against a wall!
- Elizabeth| 4 repliesWhen you look on the www.college-finder.com website in their privacy section http://www.college-finder.com/privacy-policy/ it says they are affiliated with QuinStreet, Inc. out of California. This company is a online marketing company that locates online customers that are seeking specific services through interenet searches, advertisemetns, and online information forms and then passes these potential buisness prospects and their "Non-Personally Identifiable Consumer Information" to that specific company they are affiliated with. In order for College-Finder to get your info you would have had to of filled out an online information form, I did this when searching for scholarships online over a year ago and the calls just started at the beginning of October. I called QuinStreet Corporate Headquarters and requested to speak with someone to file a complaint. The representative I spoke with was very nice and helpful. She stated that they had received a couple other complaints via e-mail and that the main incident was from a women stating that the people on the phone were unprofessional and harrassing and that she had filed a complaint with the better business bureau. The representative stated that this complaint esculated the problem to QuinStreet's President and that they are actively looking into getting this issue addressed as if people are requesting to not be contacted further they should not be calling anymore. She also stated that this College-Finder company is correct in stating that they don't have to follow the Do Not Call List as the information they received would have been directly linked to a form where the phone number was voluntarily provided. She took my name and phone number just in case they needed to speak further with me concerning these phone calls and asked that if I was actually connected to someone again when I received a phone call from this number to see if I could obtain any additional information from them and give this info to QuinStreet for their investigation. Their contact info is:

- JeriI do not know whose number this is, however, I continually receive calls from it. Please tell me what I can do to block this call.
- ElizabethHey I posted the message two up from this one yesterday about letting that company know if people continued receiving harassing and rude calls from these guys.
Just wanted to let everyone know that after I posted that comment yesterday I went back on College-Finders website and at the bottom of their webpage there is a Contact Us section. I clicked on there and wrote them a complaint, told them that calling every two hrs. all day long is excessive and uncalled for, that their call center reps were rude, and listed my phone number and told them to remove me from their list and not call me anymore or I was going to take legal action and I have not received a single call from them today. Don't know if it was due to that e-mail but here is the link if anyone else would like to try that route to get the calls to stop.

- TinaThe call came in unidentified when I answered and said hello no one even answered and then the line just disconnected.
- veejKeep getting calls from this number. No message; no answer. All hours! Cell phone only
- HatredI just got a call from these little fucktwats. They asked for me by name when my husband answered. I said hello and the guy on the other end was just babbling like a little kid, not making any sense. I asked who this was and he continued babbling. Well apparently he was humming a song, because when I said "who the [***] are you?" he said "do you know that song?" I yelled at him, demanding to know who he was and what he wanted. I asked if he was drunk and then he hung up. Don't know who those [***] are or how they got my unlisted number (landline). I suggest this - my dad taught me this but I didn't have one handy. Get one of those little fog horns that you can take to football games. When these people call you, blow it in their ear. They more than deserve it.
- Caller: who the [***] knows.
- lopezPlease stop calling me ...............
