me too!! what is it??

So my phone rang again with this number showing up on caller ID-I decided to answer it just to see who would be on the other end. A woman asked for me (my name) and I spoke in Korean and she hung up. I won't be picking up if this number calls again.

They called my friend's phone and asked for me instead.  When my friend told them that I wasn't available, they got mad and hung up.  That was at 9 in the morning today.  Then, about 20 minutes ago, they called again, and when my friend answered the phone again, they didn't even say anything and just hung up.

isn't there a law against this [***].  these people keep stalking me and I've never asked for anything.

they call at least 2-3 times a day called the number said it had been disconnected  they did leave a message this time but in a different language  could not understand

These people won't stop calling me, I finally picked up today and they asked for my grandmother! Who doesn't even live with me. I said I didn't know who that was, and they said "oh okay" and hung up. If you try to redial their number it comes up as "disconnected"

I had gone onto a website called findtherightjob.com(find the right job.com) looking for work. I had accidentally clicked that I would like to further my education (thinking that this meant learning a new kind of job). As soon as I realized it was regarding going back to school I immediately unclicked the box. But it was too late. Within an hour I started getting calls from solicitors trying to sign me up for schooling.
When asked why I was not interested in going to school I replied that I was looking for a job, not looking to rack up education debt. They thanked me and hung up. I have since received several more calls looking to sign me up for school.

Now I just ignore the calls and don't answer. I have also unsubscribed to the find the right job website.

Has anyone tried the National Do Not Call registry? It's for home and cell phones to keep telemarketers from calling.  My mom told me about because I was getting 15 to 20 calls a day my call blocker in my phone was full.  Any way it's worth a shot.

This phone calls all day long nonstop.First, I tried to respond, but the answer was the phone disconnected. . After that I don't answer this nasty person who disturbing the people, but the phone is ringing, and ringing, and ringing. Is there a police number for this criminal activity?

They call ever 5 min wanting all my personal information and I will not give it up so they get mad and start cussing at me and hang up. Thin call back a hundred more time in a day. This cant me legal I mean WTF????

I've gotten at least one dozen calls from this number on my cell phone.  When I answer, they just hang up.  Just now, I answered my phone with, "Please stop calling me," in a very gentle but firm voice.  A woman on the other end who sounded creepily like a Stepford wife said, "Why would you answer your phone that way.  I've never called you before."  She tried to make herself sound like a friend who was chastising me, but I didn't buy it.  She claimed she was from the College Center, whatever that is.  Supposedly some organization that "helps" you get into the college of your choice.  I told her I already had all the education I need, and to take my name/number off her company's list.  She said it could take 48-72 hours for that to happen.  I'm just not going to answer my phone for this number in the future.

Yes, I am listed with DNC registry.  That only prevents some calls from getting through, and it's only good for two years.

I have been getting calls to my cell phone every day for the past week from this number. With all of the same issues as all the others , but with one twist. I answer when they call and no one answers me when I say hello.

This person claimed that they received an inquiry about college education for a state I don't even live in.  They stated it was not a solicitation call, and that they received an email from my account.  They had my name, my phone number and my email address all without any inquiry from me.  

When I first missed their call, I called back and the # was out of service.  They called me again and again until I answered, all without being able to verify the company name
