I have been getting calls from this same number for the last week. A minimum of 5 times a day! When I answer, they hang up on me. I tried calling back and it only rings.

3 to four times  a day,not even a message in my voice mail.

Got call from this number and phone screen froze, so I couldn't answer and it went to VM. Listened to a VM from a so-called "employee" of the VERY LARGE HMO I work for asking me to stay with my current union. So in my case, this was a union propaganda call. I'm grateful for apps like Extreme Call Blocker. :)

Could be fishing to make sure the number is a working number so they can sell the number to other soliciters.

If you do speak with them it is best to ask personal questions about their sex life in explicit terms.

I get call from 800 Service 1-877-888-8888 at 7:34pm Oct.6,its same, nobody taking,when i called back phone,nobody answered to me, it happens every day from different numbers,even my phone registered at do not call list, i know this is some kind of servise leave a messige , but i don't know how figure out,this continius 2 years, and few times during the day.

Wife has been getting calls almost DAILY for a couple weeks now, but does not answer.
I just logged into verizonwireless.com and blocked the number.

At least with Verizon, you can block up to 5 numbers for up to 90 days at a time.  Maybe that will be long enough to ditch these losers.
I suspect other carriers have the same option.  Worth a try.

Please be advised that iI am receiving unauthorized calls from the above number 877 -888-8888 they refuse to stop calling although i am on the do not call registry list. I want them to stop calling immediately!otherwise they will be investigated by the legal authorities

I got a call and said just getting a survey from a union regarding  home care. When I called back its  a dead air.

calls three to four times a day, even after 'cease and resist' - collection agency.

I received a call from these people at 5:50 pm PDT today. Of course I did not answer and they didn't leave a message. The DO NOT CALL program does not work. The best thing to do is get a phone where you can block these numbers from your phone. Instead of answering their calls, I wait for a message that they never leave. After that, I block the numbers for their future calls. I don't have to tell them that I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. After awhile they stop calling.

We have received 11 calls from this number in the last 4 days.  Because it was such a strange number we did not pickup till yesterday. I requested that they stop calling last night and we recieved another call within two hours.  Please stop this calling.

I just got a call from this number.  I chose not to answer.

This is not a call from a union, it's a forged number from scammers.  Sometimes they pretend to be a union, sometimes a health care org, etc.

Any call from numbers like 888-8888 or 555-5555, etc., are forged.  Don't even answer these.
