Have received calls numerous times from 877-888-8888.  We are on the National Do Not Call Registry list, but the person who spoke to my husband informed him that "this doesn't pertain to us."

They also asked my husband for me, by name, although they couldn't pronounce my name properly.  When my husband asked, to no one in particular, if I was available talk on the phone (I wasn't even home) and then told them I couldn't take the call, the hung up.  How are these people getting the our names?  Scary isn't it.

I've just begun receiving calls from 877-888-8888.  They are repeating the same scenario with me as they have with the others who have complained about them on this site. Numerous calls, no messages left and when you answer, they just hang up.  I hope this not going to continue.

My mom just recieved a all from this number at 10:15 on a Saturday and she answered and all the said was "i just killed your daughter"        So of course she calls me in a panic to make sure I am ok.

This is ridiculous. I told her she needed to file a police report and get the number blocked. Regardless of who they work for or what they are doing, this crossed the line.

called 3 times in the last 14 hours, ques the message machine and no message is left.

This number, 877-888-8888, has already called twice today and the day is young.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.  If I could find out a company name and address I would report them to the Federal Trade Commission and then send a "cease and Desist" letter via registered mail to stop harrassing our number.  We must all ban together and stop these annoying calls.

they call about 2 times a day - have been doing it for the past 5 or 6 days. i finally got someone instead of dead air but before they could get a word in i told them to shut their [***] and find better work like maybe child mollestation. i haven't answered that # since then.

We receive two calls per day from this number, including Saturdays and Sundays. When the answering machine picks up, the call is disconnected. I tried calling the number, but no one answers. We belong to the Do Not Call list, but it doesn't seem to help. I wish there were a way to block this number from our phone.

Calls my Cell Phone all the time two and three times a day, my cell is also registered with do not call.

been getting this call now five and six times a day. How do you stop it

Yeah me and my mom got that call for me it said "friday 10:54" and for my mom she asked for her name then she said something like " i'll rip your arm off".

Sick & tired of this B.S.!  If you are too, go to the www.donotcall.gov & register a complaint.  I just did & will continue to do so every single time I get a call from those B-ST-RDS!

This number has been calling several times a day for the last week. I do not answer because the caller isn't identified. Lucky for me my phone company has a blocking feature. Now they can call till the cows come home and I won't receive it.

i am on the do not call list. how did they get my number? they hang up as soon as i say hello. and when i call back it just rings, no one answers.

calls twice a day and rings 2-3 times no body there except today they asked for a Boswell? this has been going on for a very long time reverse phone number.com just shows pontiac michigan and wants money for more info what a crock ....

I get calls from this number at least 3 times per day. How annoying.
I answered it tonight at 850 pm only to find no one at the other end.
I had some 'choice' words ready as my adrenaline was at boiling point.

Have been calling 2-3 times a day for a couple weeks. I do not answer. I am on the no call list.

I keep receiving calls from this number, numerous times a day for over a week. Please stop calling!

Try this, as suggested by Andy Rooney.

I have an unlisted number, but my caller ID
shows the number. I've called the number to
no avail. It just rings and rings. Of course,
computer generated calls will not leave a
message on your answering machine.

The next time this happens, pick up the phone
and hit the # sign 6 or 7 times in rapid succession.
This should confuse the sending computer and
terminate future calls.

I just did this a short time ago, so I guess I'll
just have to wait and see if it worked.
