Yesterday they called "6" times yesterday .. I don't even bother with the 800 numbers anymore.

Called a total of 7 times today. I told them to remove us from their list.

This number has called me at different times during the day for the last several days, up to two or three times a day.

I always screen my calls, and never answer "1-800" calls, they're always junk. (Volume of junk has gone down remarkably since the Do Not Call list, god bless 'em.) I let the machine pick it up, there's never a message, it's obviously a machine.

After the six or seventh call, I decided to pick up and see what happened. What I got was a recorded voice saying: "Hello, please hold the phone, we will connect you to your party." Short silence, then another "Please continue holding." Then there was a click, and the line cut off.

I tried blocking them with Call Screening, but the system told that this number couldn't be blocked. Does that mean this particular marketing company is in bed with Bell Canada, I wonder?

Then I called Bell, and asked what they could do to help. They said, essentially, nothing -- I suppose for Big Bad Bell, the marketers who pay big bucks to use their system to abuse paying clients are worth a lot more than the actual clients.

She suggested I Google the number, and I found this site. If anybody has any tips on how to oust the telemarketing scumbags from the phone lines, they would certainly be appreciated. Does Bell have an ombudsman one can call for complaints like these?

Yes That's Bell Canada.Move to cogeco it better.Bell Canada should change to Bell India because they moved all their operation to India. I don't support that by the way Cogeco is much better.

The only thing to do is just ignore calls. If you register on the "do not call" list or ask to be removed from a telemarketers list, these companies and government then sell your information to companies outside Canada who can then call you using Skype and who don't need to follow Canada's "do not call" list. No matter what you do you are caught. Do nothing and you will slowly receive less calls :(

Im so fukin tired of these people herrassing me, calling at least 20 times a week. They even rudelly call and threaten my anty. Dont know how they even got her number. I know her name i could do just like them and threaten or herrasse their fammily.

This number has appeared on my land phone 3 times and I do not answered, the lastest call was around 9:15 p.m. Friday September 11/09

definitely CMS marketing...   soliciting for newspapers according to a msg i got when I called back.

1 877 894 0084 calls about twice a day. When I answer it there is no one there. When I dont answer it I receive a partial voicemail in french.

Had many calls with same story as above was able to leave a do not call message hope i am not taken advantage of as they are calling my cell phone wasting my minutes

I recieved a call from the same number a few minutes ago on my cell number. It turns out, it's a newspaper telemarketer..

These people keep calling me too!  I get 3-4 calls a day!  I'm going to call  CRTC and complain.  The numbers are...

These people are SO annyoing! they call me ALL the time n I usually dont answer them, thankfully I have call display. Iv picked up n immediatly hung up on them to get the point across but they still call. They just called me few mins ago and I finally answered it going to  give the person on the other end a peice of my mind but when I picked up I briefly heard what sounded like a tv set then it hung up... Grr!

About 6 months ago the Windsor Star newspaper offered a free two week subscription which I accepted. Today I received a call from this number on behalf of the Windsor Star and they were asking if I would sign on as a subscribre with their special offers. This is just business I guess?? I accepted the free offer originally.

At my home in Windsor, ON. I receive a telephone call from 1-877-894-0084 usually twice a day since early January 2010. They hang up immediately or leave no message on my answering machine. When I call the number, I get an answering machine, but you cannot leave a message because the mail box is full and it hangs up. Annoying!

I have told them several times to stop calling and they still keep calling trying to sell me a London Free Press subscription.
