This was Hyperion Recovery group trying to collect a debt from a loan that was paid several years before!!!!

Does anyone have any contact info for this company.  They actually called and left a message with my boss that I had to return their call to confirm my address or I would receive a summons at work.  I had already paid the loan back but they didn't want to hear that.  I was given the name of the parent company (SKW Capital, Bradley Spoor manager) and the name and number of the process server that would be coming to me.  He actually refused to send me any verification info.

these people are calling me at work treatening me, but refuse to give me any information on this company! can anyone help. and I spoke to Frand and Joann, probably alias, and they refused to give a address

I told them to not call my job and they refuse to stop calling.

They are  nothing but a fraud company trying to get people to give them money they do not owe.  Frank, Joann, Mark, they will not give you any info, also say they are J+L Processing.  I called several times to tell them to stop calling, they even called relatives as well as work.  Have reported them to FTC, AG, and local police.  They said they would get me for harrassment if I didn't stop calling them. Bahahahahahaha.  They are a joke.  They need to be looking over their shoulders, I see something coming.

First I received a call from Catherine Masters, saying she was a process server and she was to issue me a summons to appear in court, but first I need to call this number to "update" my information.
That number is 877-908-6285, and "Frank" answered and told me  he is with Hyperion Recovery and I could make payments to him and could I pay today?  I saw the red flags right away, but told him I would call him back in the morning. There is a Hyperion listed with BBB, but not registered.  It took me all day to figure out this is a scam, and I was totally upset because they called my work and gave all this information to a coworker, because I was not available when they called...

They actually are listed with the BBB, but are not registered.   I spoke with "Frank".  (They used the same summons threat with me, and gave info to a co-worker..They are out of  New York, he told me that.   phone is that 877-908-6285...

I received similar calls from a Joanne Blake, stating that she was from J&R Processing {not J&L but also nonexistent under either name}, & that she was a process server.  The number shows up on the Caller I.D. as 214 347-8526, Hyperion Recovery.  I called the Dallas County sheriff department {214 area code}, & they said not only is there not a warrant for me, but I'm not even in their system.  Also, they confirmed my thought that if there was something needing to be served, they would just do so through my county {in WA}, & would never call me to tell me they planned to do it.  This was actually the third such threat I wasted my entire day researching today.  
Please, though, don't ever call anyone back until you've absolutely confirmed that it's legitimate; & don't answer numbers you don't absolutely recognize.  My identity was stolen this way, & it's a nightmare that will take years to recover from.  By answering the phone &/or calling them back, you're giving them information they can use to gain direct access to your accounts, & they will sell it to other cons.  Playing along, or trying to get information from these callers to find out if it's legitimate is a very bad idea, & may cost you far more than your time.

she also called my daughters today!  She told my daughters that they were brats and were born with a silver spoon up their [***]!  Cuss at my girls plus told them that I could not be found to funny since I have lived at the same address for over 15 years!  Told my girls they were serving papers but yet nothing or no one has shown up to my house! this is crap!

I was contacted from a Jennifer and then from Frank. The number I was giving is 1-877-908-6285 ext 301. And also 214-390-9992 and they were like I owe some money from some company I never heard of. What am I supposed to do? They said there is a warrant for my arrest. That I would need to turn myself in...

Frank and Carherine also called me and told me I was being charged with a felony due to an unpaid debt. He could not give me the info about who the debt was from or when. After a discussion with him he convinced me to give him my account information and he would send me the info and I could get my $250 back.  He bullied me into this. After not receiving the info and calling him numerous times he began to call me all kind of names and making threats. He went bananas, literrally. This guy is crazy. I would love to find out something to do to scam artist like this. Still waiting on the sheriff to come arrest me at work!

Dont worry frank is bullying you! He is all talk, I caught him in several lies. I am still waiting to be arrested. Do not talk to him unless he can give you names and info in writing.

Catherine Masters just called my parents house looking for my husband (we have NEVER used their phone number so I don't even know how they got it) and left a message on their machine stating she was from J&M Processing and that she was trying to get in touch with him so she could serve him with a summons to appear.  Since when do they warn people about getting a summons?  This is nothing but a scam.

Received a call today regarding my son from J&R Processing, Jennifer.  She indicated it was time sensitive, a warrant was going to be served from Polk County and for him to call 214-390-9992 as soon as possible.  Why would they call me?  They should be calling him.  They must have all his information.  He can't have an outstanding debt - he just bought a new truck.  Surely, they would have checked.

I am getting call(caller ID "private" *65  call block)  that they will be out at your home or place of business the pm the day of the call or first thing the next day to sign documents  They say to make sure you are available and have a valid ID ready to sign the documents. In the event that they go to your place of business, the ask that your supervisor have his or yours? If you want to contact the planfiff contact to call 877-908-6285. All the members of my family have been getting these calls and I have gotten the same calls for other members as well so it does't matter who they call as long as you call back you're ok in their book.

As of this writing, they are due to visit the place of business or my home tomorrow. If they visit my place of business, provided they know where it is, I haven't been there in 2 years and if my supervisor or whoever has taken their place won't give them their ID and illegal to give them my ID or sign any papers of any sort In fact, if its the same guy I had for a supervisor,  he will excuse himself long enough for the police to get there as will I if they show up.

If they show up, they are guilty of a very serious cime and for every count, if convicted, would spend the rest fo their life in jail and that's if they are from this country(they sound Canadian).

Anybody who has actual contact with them or if they have documents and want ID, tell you have to get your ID and call 911. If the documents are in order, let the police decide. Most trained officers will most likely detain them and contact the proper authority - in this case the FBI.

I will write back as to the results of my encounter with these theives.

Has  anybody actually seen these people? The big thing is for them to get you to resolve the matter by calling them and giving them your information which is what they want. Once they have that, they will have a license to harrass you somemore resulting in lot of grief.

This is a SCAM. They told me they had a summons for me and I had to meet to receive it. Fortunately I was out of town and when I told the "process server" where I was... He offered a number: 877 908 6285...
I told him to meet me at the nearest Police station to deliver this "summons"...
All at once we were disconnected... Later I read the above posts...

214-390-9992 (associated with 877-908-6285) has also tried scamming me.  They have called my sister's landline, my brother in law's cell phone, my mother's landline phone, and my step daughter's mother's landline phone.  I have assumed that they are trying to reach me; they have never asked for me by my current name though, but for a name that I had 5 years ago.  They claim that I have an outstanding debt under my maiden name; as I don't have any outstanding debts under that name, it was a pretty obvious scam that was confirmed when this page came up when I searched the phone number.  "Jennifer" from J&L Processing claims she is a process server trying to "collect a debt" or "serve papers".  As the area code is a TX number, it is pretty funny that they would be trying to "serve papers" on someone in WI.  Coincidentally, my brother in law's mother is a process server, and she suspects that they may have breached a confindential database used by process servers because the debts that they are claiming to be trying to collect are debts that did exist at one time but have been paid (as reported by the people above).  It makes a pretty convincing scam; since they are claiming to be collecting debts that may have at one time existed, for people that haven't kept good paperwork showing they paid the debt, they are tricked into thinking that it may still be outstanding.  If you recieve a call from 877-908-6285 or 214-390-9992 report it immediatly to the FTC, FCC, FBI, BBB and any state agencies that may also have oversight.  Our state dept. here in WI recommended ignoring the calls, and obviously don't give them any information!

So did these people ever appear in person?

This number 214-390-3520 Catherine Masters called me saying she had a summons for me, and needed to serve it, but didnt have my home address, but she had my work address...she said the Company Hyperion is the plantiff...and that im being summoned for Court...I have never heard of a bad debt going to court, as so many banks have gone belly up they want to go after the little guy?  I just wander if I should be worried? is someone gonna show up at my work? if it was a court related issue, they would have my home address....

This company is located at 2827 transit road in elma ny 14059, goes by the nam phoenix apperal or phoenix capital llc...you wont find them bc it goes to a lawyer who then funnels the money to another company...the owners are robert mcdonald and joe francabandiero. two young boys who break the law to collect debt that isnt even real. turn them in and use the address i provided and if you need any thing else you can email me at exciteentertainment@yahoo.com.  I can give you lots of info such as their parents names business names and addresses! any info needed to have them shut down and arrested....first step is to call the attorney general in buffalo with info then the fbi!
