I paid my loan off several years ago as well and i also got a call from Hyperion.  I spoke with Annette, she was very helpful i explained that i had paid this off and she worked with me to get this cleared up.  It was not the fault of Hyperion it was the fault of Cashnet which was the original company i took the loan out from.  This lady was very helpful i sent her my statements that showed i paid the bill and she forwarded it to Cashnet and told them they will not try to collect on something that was already paid in full.  She than closed out my account and i have not heard from anyone since.  If you paid this loan off you should call them and let them know, they will help you resolve it.

they been calling me at work harassing me saying they will serve me with court papers because im refusing to pay them, so i responded back and said let them come to my job see what happens..they haven't showed up yet. im pretty sure they are scamming people.
