Sick, sick, sick of getting phone calls from National Rifle Association, with various toll free numbers.  How can they be blocked?

Called the number, they answered National Rifle Assoc. A recording was to inform me of some very important changes pressed 1 then 3 and the recording said they had 30 days to remove our number.  My gun club requires membership in the NRA so when I call to renew, I will give them my "new" phone number which will be the number of our waste hauler  :)

I think its a scam saying they are nra because im a lifetime member and he said i can renew my membership for a special price. Dont thinks its nra probably a scam!!!

This number called me about 10 minutes ago when i answered, i heard a male and someone else laughing in the background.  Then a male voice ask for Catherine.  I responded with wrong number then hung up.

Just received a call a call from 888-202-2385 which was labeled as "Unavailable" on my caller ID. I let it go to my answering machine, but no message. After looking this number up on 800Notes and reading it is a scam or otherwise a nuisance, I subsequently blocked the number.

Really inexpensive to join with lots of benefits....if you support the 2nd Amendment...you should join. Your choice...Just saying.

No, when I call the number back the recording says "Thank you for calling the National Rifle Association".  Shouldn't call people 'liberals trying to shut down the NRA' until you have verified your information.  NRA calls constantly, and as an NRA member that is annoying.

I dont know the caller. I have seen this number several times on my cell phone ,no one leaves a msg

Caller ID "Toll Free Caller".  Did not go through the prompts to bypass my call blocking device.

This is NRA..National Recovery Agency, NOT the rifleman association. Lots of time this same company calls and spoofs their number with the OTHER 'NRA' phone number to confuse people and/or increase likelihood you will answer the phone and speak to a rep. Ergo if you call the number back and see its a legit company, you are more apt to answer the next time they call. The riflemans association does not harangue or harrass people like these jerks.

Perhaps folks are figuring out (by now) that these unrecognized caller IDs are more than likely spoofed calls with titles like "NRA", "Breast Cancer", "Donate that Car".  These calls are from criminals.  Save yourself some grief and wasted time and DON'T ANSWER!
