Calls daily from National Rifle Association.  I block one and they call back with a different number.  Not sure if it is really the NRA.

SPOOFED CALL!  So FOOLISH to answer, much Less to BELIEVE ANYTHING said by them!  WASTE of TIME to answer.  We never answer these calls, never have either.

National recovery association. Block one number and they call from a different number. Big mistake when we answered the very first time they called asking for someone we don't know. Now they call pretty much everyday from a new number after i blocked the previous number.

Calling daily, do not leave a message.  Caller-ID says "National Rifle Association".  Blocked with Vonage's new Call Block.

Same here - I block the call and they call back with another number.  This happened three days in a row.  They do not leave a message.  Caller-ID identifies the call as "National Rifle Association".

NRA member. Asked them to contact by mail only but message never got to contracted fundraiser so I blocked. Sorry about that.

Spoofed call.  Don't care what the source.  We never answer.

I'm a victim of ID theft. Never, ever, give out personal info to anyone who calls or emails you. If you want info on the NRA, you can reach them through   www.NRA.org   And buy yourself ID insurance, people!

They called again, still pretending to be the NRA. It's a con man, for sure. He just wants your name and address, and your credit card number if he can get it. I've been a Life member of the NRA for 30+ years and they don't torment people. If they did it would just piss people off. I've blocked them.

Thank you to everyone who posts here. My ID was stolen about 8 months ago. Those who know they don't owe anyone money might want to follow up along these lines. Even with LifeLock you've got to be diligent. Along with bill collectors, ID thieves will buy and sell your information. Don't ever give out or "confirm" ANY information over the telephone, including your name. It's the safest way to protect yourself.

Be aware, these thieves ARE POSTING HERE to confuse people. Those who claim to be NRA members would know that we only solicit through the mail. Thieves want you to call them back in order to collect more information. If you call them back, they have your number. If you identify yourself, they have your name, and so on. It's a very common tactic. NRA members, go to  www.NRA.org  All should be aware that the NRA does not harass people. It makes no common sense for us to do so.

This same outfit uses 888-202-2385, 866-275-8502, 855-238-3478, 703-988-6387, 703-291-9005.  If you call them back, they may call again from a number within your own area code. This activity is definitely indicative of a con. Be smart, folks.

Am constantly getting calls  from 1-888-202-2385 and they never leave phone messages and constantly let the phone ring enough to make me run for it and I am on a walker and they hang up before I can get to phone. When I have answered it---all they want is money----constantly wanting money or for me to renew my membership---even after I tell them I live on a limited income and can't afford it and I have to tell them no several more times and finally hang up on them if they won't listen.

It does not say National Rifle Assn, it says NRA, which is a collection agency. The real NRA does not perform phone solicitations...ever.

First generation American here, from a country where I and many other civilians were forced to hand over our firearms to the Government. I mistakenly thought the NRA was a good organization that would fight for our rights to be an armed population, and so I signed up for a Lifetime Membership. Imagine my surprise when, after making my final "Life Member" payment, I received an offer to become an Endowment Member, for an additional price of course. Of course after becoming an Endowment Member then you can sign up to become a Patron Member, and later a Benefactor Member. I'm sure after becoming a Benefactor there's a higher level again.

Money, money, more money. I understand they need money to fight, but I signed up for a Life Membership so I wouldn't have to keep paying every year. What a mistake.

The NRA is the National Rifle Assn. on our phone & they ask for my husband and call even after talking to him.  They never leave a message though.

I do not know if it is the NRA calling but the number displayed is a NRA number. The call itself could be from anybody and just spoofing the number. As for the snail mail, that can be stopped by opting out at their website. The nations oldest civil rights organization wants members and money, not irritated citizens.

My Calls Were From 984-255-6820 They Have Called from 2/19/2016 Till 3/08/2016. Even Sat & Sun. Emailed To NRA MEMBERSHIP  To STOP THESE CALLS. Told Them # Is Blocked. They Stop Calling After A few Days After Email. Now Yesterday 888-202-2385 Showed Up And Blocked That # Too

No message ever left. Always listed as unavailable. Won't answer.

Call every day and as soon as the answering machine comes on they hang up. Hate this robo call crap. It should be against the law to harass people like this.

NOT correct.  I am an NRA member and the NRA does employ professional phone solicitaion firms for fund raising, especially for the NRA-ILA.
