This message was posted by someone working with this company.  On November 2012 they were ordered to cease and desist collection activities.  They cannot sue you on a debt that is past the statue of limitations.  They are lowlife junk debt buyers who pay less than a penny on the dollar for accounts and try to scare people with lies about lawsuits.  Contact FTC and register a complaint with them.

This is a false post written by someone from their lowlife company they work for.  They buy junk debt that are past the statue of limitations.  Record and save all messages from them.  They are not a law firm.  It is against collection laws to lie about legal action and being an attorney.  File a complaint with the FTC.

This is a lowlife junk debt buyer who buys out of date debts and lies to try to collect anything they can on debts that can no longer legally be sued for.  Jason Rushlow or whatever name he uses is a lieing lowlife junk debt collector.  Please do not believe any of his posts.  Tape and record any and all phone calls from this company.  Report them to the FTC. They were told to cease and desist collection activities in several states.  Do not give out any personal information and do not be intimidated by these lowlifes.

Why don't you get a job where you don't have to lie.  What you are doing is against the law.  You cannot collect on debts past statue of limitations.  You just hope you can scam money out of people who do not know this.  Times must be hard in Orchard, NY .

Received a call from Jessica Amidone from the Revenue Reporting Service regarding an alledged payday loan 7 years ago (even if this debt was owe the law requires it to be cancelled after 7yrs). Why would a business wait 7 years later to go after a debt? Where are the original loan agreements with my signature to prove you have the right person? Is it really worth minimal wages to call, threathen and harass people without verifying if this could be a case of identity thief? I have forward the e-mail to my Attorney and is awaiting to hear from them. Sowing and Reaping is no joke! Your turn is coming!

Received an Call from Mary Quinn stating I owe a debt. I asked her to send me a letter by mail on letterhead stating how much I owe. I was really trying to work with her about the debt Mary became very rude because I couldn't make a payment today. I tried calling back the number again to speak with someone different now my calls are going straight to VM.

Web page looks like a 2 year old designed it, contains a veiled address:  http://revenuereportingservices.com/
BBB page gives them no rating with 14 complaints and 1 negative review, and lists their address as a UPS store:

Please note that no registration information was found anywhere and that would actually preclude them from conducting business.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

You probably should have counter sued... the case was probably out of statute, inflated, without proper documentation,  and more than likely they had committed multiple violation of the FDCPA before they pulled the old "you are served scam" on you.  These guys are real scum bags.  These clowns left a message on my voice mail with no less than 3 Federal violations in one call!  No statutory letter..........major scum bags.

How can I verify whether or not a debt collector is legitimate?
Here are a few warning signs that could signal a debt collection scam:

The debt collector threatens you. Legitimate debt collectors probably won't claim that they'll have you arrested or claim that they or their employees are law enforcement officers.

The debt collector refuses to give you information about your debt or is trying to collect a debt you do not recognize. You have certain rights to ask a debt collector to verify the debt. You can use this sample letter to request this information. Ask for an explanation in writing before you pay.

The debt collector refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number.

The debt collector asks you for sensitive personal financial information. You should never provide anyone with your personal financial information unless you are sure they're legitimate.
If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:

Ask the caller for his or her name, company, street address, telephone number, and professional license number. Many states require debt collectors to be licensed. Check the information the caller provides you with your state officials, or the state in which the debt collector holds a license. If the caller refuses or is unable to provide you with information about his company, or if you can’t verify the information he provides, do not give money to the caller or company.

Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." This notice must include:
    The amount of the debt
The name of the creditor you owe
A description of certain rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, consider requesting this information in writing or seeking assistance before paying the debt to make sure the debt, and the company, are valid.

Tip: You can consider sending the collector a letter requesting the information by using one of the CFPB's sample letters. You can also submit a complaint to the CFPB or you can contact your state Attorney General’s office.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know the company or person you are talking with is a real debt collector. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft such as:
    Charging your existing credit cards
Opening new credit card or checking accounts
    Writing fraudulent checks
Taking out loans in your name

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Submit a complaint with the CFPB or get in touch with your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers.

Stop speaking with the caller. If nothing else works and you believe the calls are fraudulent, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files.

Tip: You can use this sample letter to write a letter demanding the debt collector stop contacting you. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Tip: If you're having trouble with debt collection, you can submit a complaint with the CFPB online or by calling (855) 411-CFPB (2372).

This company revenue reporting hires pathetic people to threaten people and state they are gonna make consumers lose there jobs by calling there HR department . Today we made another complaint to the CFPB.. They numerously violated FDCPA laws... They tried these tactics with the wrong person now.. Fortunate enough I have family who works handling cases such as these with the attorney general.   We want them to make sure they receive violations and or shutdown.  We were told they are under investigation..,,

    Frustrated replies to irate person
They did this to me today. Contacted my boss and when I called them (I purposely blocked my number) they insisted upon getting my phone number. I refused.

Then they decided to say I had an outstanding debt from 2011. Not to my recollection. If I have such a debt, I must see this in writing. They refused. Said my only option was to pay today or they cannot help me. Then wanted to get snarky with me when I refused. I'm not paying for a debt I have no documentation to support. They can get bent.

    Frustrated
They contacted my employer today, who forwarded the message to me. I blocked my number and called them back. They immediately went into their speak about me needing to pay some 800 dollars today to clear this supposed debt. I asked where is this debt from? Some Paradise loan company. Never heard of them. Claiming they sent many notifications, yet only had my previous address from before I moved across the country. I refused to pay a dime without documentation of said debt. Also informed them I had no money anyways so good luck getting anything from me. They wouldn't provide me documentation of this supposed debt and tried to guilt me into taking food off my table to pay a debt I don't have proof to support. Told them to do what they had to, because I'm not paying for squat sight unseen.
