A "Mark calling on behalf of SunTrust Mortgage" called my cell number today leaving a nondescript voice message asking me to call them back.  I'm not going to be doing that.  This telemarketing company is obviously still up and running as of this date.

I received a message from this number and the voicemail volume was low but said they were calling "on behalf of SunTrust Mortgage" and to call them back.   I blocked the number.

SunTrust is our mortgage company, but I never trust calls from unknown numbers so I did not answer and instead came here to research the number that showed on Caller ID. Caller left a message on my voicemail claiming to be “Lisa on behalf of SunTrust” and requesting that I call them back. I see here that the same message wording had been used for many others here. I blocked the number and encourage others to always check and research numbers, and call the legit company numbers if you want to try reaching them yourself.

Received calls but let it go to voicemail.  Did not return call as it appeared to be a scam.  Blocked number.

SunTrust is obviously hacked since these scammers can call our home and work numbers and know what our name is. I've been getting these calls last couple of days as well.

I am a SunTrust customer but did not request anything from them. I received a message at my work number "calling on behalf of SunTrust Mortgage" but it didn't say what about.

Caller: "Hello, this is Sasha from Sun Trust Mortgage"
Excuse me, did you say you are from Sun Trust Mortgage?
Caller: "Yes, this is Sun Trust Mortgage"
Well, I spoke with Sun Trust Mortgage and they told me the number is not affiliated with them.

It's not with Suntrust mortgage processing or collections. They are calling current customers to see if they have any mortgage needs they can fund for you or to refi your current loan.

I have a mortgage with Suntrust, but I never call back a number they leave on a voicemail.  Called Suntrust with their actual number and they said the number that called me was not from them and there has been no notes on my loan.  It’s bogus.

I didn't recognize the phone number but they are SUNTRUST!   Really.....  Be very careful.

Got a voicemail from this number claiming to be SunTrust. I called back and the automated answering service said something like "Thank you for calling SunTrust, please hold while your call is transferred." Then another automated service picked up and said something about reaching the internet help service and nothing about SunTrust. They called again this morning and I blocked the number without answering.

I've gotten 5 calls from this number in the past 6 days. I don't answer (because my phone marks the calls as "scam likely") and they do not leave a voicemail message. Pretty sure it's a scam.

This is not a SunTrust number. The number belongs to a telemarketing firm hired by SunTrust. If you want to do business with the bank securely, call its main toll free number or visit a branch office.

Same here,  i am not calling them back. and of course they left a VM telling me they were from suntrust

I just started getting these calls.  They are calling several times per day, one try just 60 seconds after the first.  I blocked the caller on my cell, but fully expect they will call again from another number.  I am a Suntrust customer, and it makes me think our contact information has been breached to these scammers.  BEWARE!!!

2 calls from this no.3-14-19

“Pete” and “Jose” allegedly from SunTrust called both my husband and I today. Did not seem legitimate and in fact were not.  Aggravating, as we are SunTrust customers and apparently this scam company has a list of SunTrust customers with some of our personal information.

Had a call from this number yesterday, they left message, not great sound quality on call. Asked in SunTrust chat (while logged into my account) and they said it was not one of their numbers. I've gotten 2 more calls from the number today but  have not answered since I'm at work.

Two calls today, one on home number and one on cell. Caller ID says Sun Trust Mtg, no voice-message left. Like the calls I received the other day from a different number, this number is flagged all over the place as a scam.
