- JMKSCAM - I didn't pick up the call and let it go to voicemail. It was a bot call, but it sounds as though a live person is leaving a message -- very realistic. The bot didn't pick up on the fact that I have a long introduction to my voicemail, so the message that was left started in the middle of the scammer's speech about loan forgiveness and how if I just called them to let them know I wasn't interested they would stop calling me. I don't even have student loans to forgive...

- Aurora| 1 replySame as JMK, the message picked up in the middle of the realistic sounding bot's message. If it was a person they would have waited until my voicemail intro was over then started their spiel. So, since the beginning is cut off, I didn't get to hear the part about it supposedly being about student loans. Mine begins "reach you to complete the application, if not we would have to just close it out. So however you want to proceed let us know by the end of business day." Says that they'll close it out if I don't call by then but they never say what they'll close out. Then he says if he's not available (never gives his name in the message I got though) that I can speak with any of the other counselors. He called from a weird number, 812-913-9828, but he tells me to call him back at 888-231-5805. I do have a lot of student loans, but if that's what this is about, I have never applied for any loan forgiveness, or consolidation, since I'm on the income based repayment with the lender and it's been working out great for me.

- ChristianSCAM - Claims he was going to followup on my supposed request for a lower payment option on my student loan. I don't have a student loan.
