- LauraI received the same exact voicemail from Justin. Called back and they asked if I have student loans. I said no and they hung up. Called back and it rang forever. A different person answered and I said, "This is a great scam, do a lot of people fall for it?" and he said, "Yes. The smartest ones do." I told him I will not be reporting the number and hung up.

- LuisSCAM! I received a call from a person named Justin Miller about student a loan forgiveness program. I've already paid off all of my loans.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- S| 3 repliesPart 2: I called the number that "Justin" provided twice. A robot will you ask you three questions. Do you owe more than 10k in student loan debt. Are you currently enrolled in school? Do you belong to any student loan forgiveness programs?
First time of calling them: I responded "maybe" to all of them. I was put on the phone with an Indian male to which he asked the same questions. I asked if he had my name on records. He responded "sir I don't have that information, your counselor will have all that information." He hung up.
Second time calling: I responded "I don't know" to the robot and after the first question I was on the phone with "James" a male who sounded unprofessional, coughed, and had a thick new York accent. He asked me all questions to which i replied, "possibly", "kind of", and "Not sure". He replied, "Well, if you don't belong to a program already then you're not eligible. So are you in a forgiveness program?" In a robotic tone I continued to reply "Sure". "You are" he asked, with slight anger in his voice. "Sure" He hung up. If you're looking for something to do, call them on restricted and do the same or report them - SPart 3: I have formally reported them. If they're smart they (the scammers) are reading these comments and would understand that scamming is punishable and can follow them. Please continue to A) Troll call them. B) Report them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. C) Both
- GinaSame as everyone else (Justin, call me back before the end of the day today) except I DID apply for loan forgiveness. Called the number they provided and after a few minutes someone picked up but there was a person in the background repeating something over and over again and there was a lot of banging on the line. Eventually the line cut off and the call ended.

- Tygerkat replies to S| 2 repliesYou can't call "restricted" when calling a toll-free number.
- S replies to Tygerkat| 1 reply*67-888-231-5805 that should do it.
- Mike-in-MD replies to S*67 does not work on toll free numbers. Check with your phone company if you don't believe us.
- S| 1 replyEyyy I'm wrong. But regardless, this thread is about scammers and I've had fun trolling them whether they see my number or not and the only way to get them to stop is A) Troll call them. B) Report them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. C) Both.
- BigA replies to JoyWow, another idiot that never graduated past grade school and can't read numbers.
- BigA replies to SSo, how many times are you going to post drivel in this thread? Yes we know that it is a scam. Yes, we know more then you because we know that *67 does not work with toll free numbers since the information is transmitted via ANI (Automatic Number Identification) and not CNUM or CNAM. I doubt the CFPB has anything to do with this but even if they did the moron in the Oval Office has kneecapped them and is now trying to make the the Business Financial Protection Bureau and the The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. There is also no need for you to repeat yourself unless you are hearing an echo in your head.
- PeterSame as above saying I requested student loan something, but I never. Must be scam, and the police or government should do something to stop it.
- barbara replies to LynnYes, me too Lynn. I smell SCAM

- MandaScam call from "Justin Noah" about a student loan forgiveness application. Calls came from 458-800-1092 and 206-537-0251 - with the exact same message and call back number given. However, my voicemail showed today's message came from 463-223-1724. If you call the number, it is an automated system.
