    TOTAL SCAM.
Same here. "Justin" spoke VERY quickly on the voice message, I guess they get more calls out that way.  I decided to call the 888-231-5805 number he left just to see what would happen.  There was an automated screening in place which first asked if I was responding to a text or returning a phone call.  They it asked if my loan was for more than $10k or more than $5k, when I replied NO (that it was not over $5k it hung up on me.  I called back.  When I said YES, my load was over $5k a young woman answered and asked for my loan amount.  I said I didn't have the exact amount with me, she asked if over $10, I said no and she said they only work with loans over $10k and hung up.

Rec'd vmail from Justin, following up on student loan forgiveness. I didn't apply, do have student loans, but will not be calling this scammer back. The vmail came from 940-324-0961, but the call came from 937-505-8584, and the call back # was 888-231-5805, so clearly something (spoofing?) is going on with the source #.

"Justin Miller" from "Student Loan Forgiveness Program" called to follow up on my "application" to forgive my student loan (paid in full 40 years ago). 888-231-5805 was the return # which takes you back to the same place. Recording screens to a human who attempts to extract personal information through lies and fraud. Pretty sophisticated fraud. Origination #667-777-7619 in MD.

The same Justin called me today. I don't have any student loans. This is a scam. They asked if I had loan debt up to 10,000 I replied no; then they asked did I have 5,000 I said no then the phone up on me. This is nothing but a scam. For future reference whenever anyone get these calls don't answer with yes, because this will give them permission to access your bank account or credit call which they already have gained knowledge of so always answer no to any question they ask or text.

Got 3 separate calls (from different area codes) all within a 10 minute window on Feb 13, 2020. Same identical voicemail left from each: Someone named Justin (Novaks?) calling about my request for the student loan forgiveness program. Never took out any loans myself, but for anyone wondering if it’s a scam, it is. Student loan forgiveness can be reliably requested through studentaid.gov, not through some vaguely official sounding guy telling you to call him back by end of business that day and threatening to cancel your application.

Got this same scam call numerous times, I call back to waste their time. I've blown whistles, slammed pits and pans and rang a bell, the fool keeps trying to talk. The idiots finally hang up on me. Got another Jason messsge today and returned his call, apparently my number has been "blocked",  after the robot questions the call disconnected.

Let it go to voicemail and got the same message about never being able to reach me to finish an application for student loan forgiveness and possible payment options from Justin.  I got almost the same exact message last month except they use the current date each time.  It freaked me out at first because I do have student loans and I was just approved for a repayment plan, but since there was no mention of the company that they are calling from and I have only ever been contacted by my loan provider through email or mail, this seemed very unusual to me.  After reading everyone else's experience, I am deciding this is a scam.

I just got very similar calls from a Justin and another man, can't remember name. I wish I had know, because I do have student loan, which I did filled out a request for lowering payments with the agency loan is actually with.  Now I am wondering if my personal info was obtained to do this scamming. The caller  last he asked was for my credit card to have payment auto withdrawal and I didn't give it so they said if not provide case would be closed off.  I will report this to fed student loan office and attorney general office. You should do the same.

That guy is a good voice actor. I got reeled in and actually called back started answering a robo calls questions. This was dangerous to do but the robot asks if you are in student debt for X amount.  then it asks for a lower amount.  I said no to both, then I got disconnected. Probably for the better.  Lucky I didn't leave a name, or any personal information. But I shouldn't even have called back, I was just curious because I thought it may have simply been a mistake and I wanted to tell Justin that I have no student loan and wanted to know how he got my phone number.  But.. my guess is you will actually never get a chance to even speak to "Justin".

Now that I think about it, actually the voice actor sounded so geniuine that perhaps it really was from a real service. I can deduce that perhaps someone recorded "Justin" from a real phone call, then used it in their robo calling to collect information on people who have debt. Since I had no debt, the robocaller disconnected me on "No".

    Just my hypothesis.

The lesson learned is to not even call back!

Maybe the robocaller was successful after all, because now they know my phone number is owned by a person with no student loan debt. Perhaps now they can sell my profile to Credit Card Offers. DAM! I STILL GOT SCAMMED! LOL!
