I received a call from this number representing the IRS.

I received a call from 888 231 7304 from a person who identified himself as Shawn Martin. He claims to represent the IRS

Automated message about tax fraud and if I wish to return to college I need to rectify the matter immediately. I previously got an email from the school regarding something about this. IRS will never call you to demand anything. Scam.

I just got a voicemail from this number 888 231 7304, said that there was a fraud detected on my tax return after August that i had been hiding from the IRS. Funny it's only July. And I paid a CPA to do my taxes and if there was an issue the IRS would have not accepted my returns way back in March after I filed. This is totally a scam.

Says they Are the IRS and to call them back about tax fraud

So received a robo-call claiming to be from the IRS, stating that the "matter at Hand is extremely time sensitive and urgent, as after audit we found that there was a fraud"... so on... Total scam - the IRS will not contact you by phone. Number is now Blocked...

I received a call from this number  about the IRS.

Garbled robotic voicemail message saying something about fraud and hiding from the federal government.  Totally bogus.  Called twice today about 4 hours apart.

Got an automated recording when I answered the call saying fraud was detected on my tax returns.  Called back and got a foreign man in a noisy call center claiming to represent the IRS and he requested my name, phone number, DOB and last 4 of social.  When I refused, he said the police would be arresting me within 45 minutes.  I think I'll be alright!  Lol!

left two messages about a "matter that needs to be rectified immediately".  No identifying info other than a number that was not answered when called back.

I received a call/message from this number regarding an urgent and sensitive matter regarding tax fraud on my income tax. I blocked the number.

Ignore this number, just bull sh*t. Next time u got the call, say F*k You and hang up, that all u need.

Called and left a voicemail saying I was trying to hide from the IRS regarding fraud. They said the situation was severe and that I would be arrested if not handled immediately.
