I got a call from this number 888-231-7304 about tax fraud. And the officers name was john beaker he supposedly gave me a warrant number and a case number. For $2850.00

Received a call from this number.  A recorded voice stating to be a rep of the irs  accused me of fraud.
Pretty sure this is a scammer

I received the same call about IRS fraud also, i called the number back, he wanted full name, phone number, address, and social, i told him you should already have that since you contacted me, gave me some lame excuse about there system only deals with phone numbers. I then told him i work at a Federal Facility(which i do) and that i could walk down the hall and give the phone to the department of homeland security chief for this region....he hung up quick, AND I DID TURN THE PHONE NUMBER OVER TO HOMELAND SECURITY, FALLS UNDER THERE JURISDICTION SINCE I AM A FED. EMPLOYEE

Just received this call on my cell phone.  It was a computer generated message, which was of poor quality and barely able to be understood.  It said they were calling from the IRS, and it is imperative to call this number.  First of all, I think the first correspondence you would receive from the IRS is a letter.  Secondly, why would you have to call the number back, why wouldn't there be a representative to hold for.  This is such crap.  I hate these people!  Grr

steve john called me to tell me hes with the irs and i owe 2,450$ and theres a warrant out for my arrest . If this number calls your phone dont answer it . Its a scam

Same exact message. Big relief to see everyone describing the same call word for word. I've deleted the message and have now moved on. Though I am so tempted to call them back now and just give them [***] info to [***] with them like "I'm returning your call my name is Hugh G. Recksion, DOB 1/1/00, SS 1234"

i received 2 voice mails saying i committed fraud on my taxes. the first time they answered they claimed they were the IRS when i said they were not they hung up. the second time, my coworker called and said they were lying and should stop, he said he was from the Internal Revenue Service and his name was Steve Jon. third time calling back i told him to stop calling my number and claiming he is the IRS, i asked why he was calling and he said because he wanted to [***] me. This is clearly fraud.

Scam!! Just received 2nd call in 2 hrs. Automated call says to call them regarding fraud on my taxes, and I'm "hiding" from them. Firstly, I know for a fact the Federal Gov knows my current information, and that I'm not "hiding".  Secondly, the IRS will not call you; they correspond in writing, especially if they think you're committing fraud.

Calls like this make me angry, because this scam will most likely scare and work on some innocent person, especially if they're elderly or disabled.

Thank you for taking the time to turn these guys in by giving Homeland Security their number. I only hope they do something about it.

I've forgotten the website address to submit these types of calls to them. Do you or anyone else have the address?

This was a fraud, the IRS will not call on phone, they will send a letter.

Got a message about having a warrent out for my arrest from an address I haven't lived at for 4 years. The guy had an accent and an attitude.

Robot call from the "IRS" saying there was a fraud on my taxes that I was HIDING from the IRS.  UMMM I just went through an audit and received an additional refund....  SCAM!

Got an automated recording when I answered the call saying fraud was detected on my tax returns.  Called back and got a foreign man in a noisy call center claiming to represent the IRS and he requested my name, phone number....total phone scam

Received a phone call at 545 pm on 7/15 saying I was being accused of tax fraud and a warrant for my arrest will be issued.  When I asked the person what was this in relevance to he didn't answer me.  He kept insisting tax fraud on my part.

So received a robo-call claiming to be from the IRS, stating that the "matter at Hand is extremely time sensitive and urgent, as after audit we found that there was a fraud"... so on... Total scam - the IRS will not contact you by phone. Number is now Blocked..

Just got this message must call the irs because fraud on my account. When I called up and asked questions the man was pretty Snappy when I said the IRS will never call you he told me go ahead call the cops this is a toll free number so it must be legit and I said I must be an [***] because I'm not giving you any information about me especially when you call on my prepaid phone and not my landline which is registered with the IRS was that you hung up on me...
