I received a scam message saying I owe money to IRS and to call back immediately. IRS does not do calls about owing money.

This # called and left me a VM saying there was fraud committed on my taxes and I need to rectify immediately. Lmao!

My call was not somebody apparently impersonating the IRS, but rather, posing as AT&T DirectTV.  A clear-spoken, male voice left a voicemail saying my existing account was eligible for a 50% discount or some BS like that, and that I should call back to receive the discount.  Funny thing is, I'm not a DirectTV customer, so it's very likely little more than a phone-phishing campaign.

I got a call from 866-314-4902, claiming to be from Direct TV and I'm eligible for 50% discount and to call them back at 888-231-7304. I've never had direct tv

Left a voice mail claiming to be DirecTV and that my account (have not had one in years) is eligible for 50% off.

This time it's "AT&T" about 50% off my existing account, that I don't have.

They called to offer 50% off my att bill no person a computer

SCAM

bs call from 888-231-7304: "Hi there.  I am calling you from AT&T DIRECTV to let you know that your existing account is qualified for 50% off.  In order to avail the discount, kindly call us back at 888-231-7304 from 8am til 9pm Pacific Standard Time.  Thank you and have a great day!"
I don't have an existing account.

Received a call stating they were AT&T Direct TV stating that they could save me 50% off my bill.
