Just got off the phone with Barclay, the  888 232 0780 number is definitely a Barclay number. It is the Customer relationship number and based on our 3 separate conversations, this is related to Customer Card Security. GL

This is a valid number from Barclays.  I called the Customer Service number on the back of my card and was told that they were calling to verify a transaction from that morning which we had made.

Called on 3/18/16 9:30am Defnitely Barclay's but it left a voicemail. JetBlue is switching to their MasterCard from AMEX- this was a legit reminder call.

It's legit. JetBlue Amex is changing to Barclay JetBlue MasterCard. This was just a reminder to activate your new card when you receive it.

It's painfully obvious that on one has bothered to read the comments on page 1 by Sir Bedevere. Because caller ID can be spoofed (faked) you can never assume the caller is who they say they are on an incoming call. Real number? Maybe. Real caller? Maybe not. Whatever it is, whatever the reason tell them you'll call them back. Then look the number up & verify it as real & correct.

I received a voice mail from this number and it's Barclay Card. They were calling to remind me to activate the new card I received on a specific date. It's a legit number.

Don't have anything with Barclay Bank or ever did any business with them so why is their supposed Fraud Dept number calling? With an UNAVAILABLE Caller ID too

This really is from Barclays.  If you had a Jet Blue AmEx card, they are reminding you to activate the new Barclays JetBlue card since JetBlue is not affiliated with AmEX any longer.

This is Barclay card and you are telling people not to answer a legitimate call.  I was out of state making several purchases and I received a text from Barclay at the same time this call came in. Thank goodness I spoke to them because my card was frozen and they unlocked immediately.

I was out of state making purchases. Card was frozen and I received calls from this number as well as (800) 363-0558. This is indeed Barclay card and I'm glad I responded as my card was immediately unlocked.
