Scam-fraud number calling daily, one of 80-some, used by a fraudulent debt collection agency, JPRecovery. They specialize in medical debts, which are evidently all fraudulent, as the stupid university-related medical out-practice which referred me to JPRecovery is incapable of sound accounting. I have demonstrated to the medical practice that every charge I owed has been paid on a timely basis, with a zero balance right now. However, the self-righteous animals are unwilling to apologize and correct their books. I warned the chief manager that if they don’t correct their books and any adverse data sent to the credit bureaus will be treated as a crime under Federal law. He said not to get so drastic. If he thinks filing Federal fraud and criminal complaints is being drastic, he hasn’t seen anything yet.

I have had the same experience with JPRecovery. The outpatient medical practice affiliated with what is supposed to be a prominent, snooty-rooty university, which issues M.D., J.D. and M.B.A. Degrees (among others), is incapable of proper accounting for patient payments (including the co-pay at the office and the balance paid online), and refuses to correct their books despite showing them all manner of receipts for all payments. Then the university sends a fraudulent complaint to the likes of JPRecovery, which proceeds to ceaselessly call and call, and also refuses to acknowledge documentation clearly showing that my account has a zero balance. My personal attorney is drafting a letter to the President of that university, warning him of the accounting fraud in his outpatient medical practice, requesting that corrective measures be immediately taken, and that any adverse information sent to a credit bureau will prompt the filing of a lawsuit for damages, as well as the filing of a criminal complaint with the local U.S. Attorney.

They call over and over again. I went to the Cleveland Clinic years ago and paid my bill in full. I called the Clinic and they said I have no outstanding charges and to ignore the calls as it's a scam.
