It the collections firm called J R Recovery Services of Rocky River OH. I spoke with them this morning regarding my Cleveland Clinic bill that I have beening pay down each month. Guess I get to also call Cleveland Clinic today find out why they sent a certain parts to collection.  So technically, Cleveland Clinic didn't "reduce" my bill they just handled off (adjusted) part to the collections agency J R Recovery Services. Watch out!

these guys (JP recovery)are real dirtbags, they call me every so often about an outstanding Cleveland clinic bill. So far, in every instance, it was at least 2 years old and when I go through my records, it was already paid by my insurance so I have to fax them a bunch of info to get them to stop bothering me.

I couldn't agree with you more. I traveled across the country to get "the best" treatment, from The Cleveland Clinic... HaHaHa
What a joke this hospital did "NOTHING"!!!
They kept me drugged, heavily for three days, of SLEEP!!!
    Then released me!!!
This was there way of "treating" someone who is there for depression & thoughts of suicide, & seeking help!!!
I refuse to pay them a penny!!!
I have found the help I needed, but in NO way did the Cleveland Clinic Help!!!
Is it any wonder that city is a disgusting DUMP!!!

Same thing here. they call multiple times a day. never leaving a message. but when i call back they hang up on me. I have told them multiple times to contact my lawyer since the bills are due to a car accident which my lawyer is taking care of. Cleveland clinic did nothing for me. kept me heavily drugged to the point i wanted to kill myself. the meds they were giving me, they knew i was allergic to it and still gave it to me. I am going through the hospital insurance and have been approved so why was my name sent to collections if i was covered? Now the surgery that i need if i ever want to walk again, i can't get in for. They will not schedule me any appointments til i pay off the 15,000. which i can't pay cause i can't work cause i can't walk. so this hospital chain is a chook and never does anything good for anyone.

My 4 year-old son received treatment at CCF Cleveland two years ago. Dual insurance Aetna POSII and Aetna Managed Care. Still getting bills from 2 years ago that are in collections. We never saw original bills! Afraid this will effect credit score. Getting calls from UHHS Revenue Group too from son's  open heart procedure in 2007. Same situation!

This is JR Recovery, who as far as I know, only does collection for the Cleveland Clinic. Our physician has been with the Clinic for many years and their billing is worthless. They will neglect to bill the patient and send bills directly to collections. And they do not keep any billing records of what they were charging you for and what insurance paid, so all you get is you owe X amount with no explanation for what it is for. They have a nasty habit of double billing for services. I am currently fighting with them over the fact that my son did not get two sets of immunizations at his last visit. That one will get turned over. These people are currently calling me for a bill that was turned over 5 days after the Clinic cashed my check paying for it and a full 4 days before the bill would have even been late.  These jokers don't care.  I'm sure it won't be the last bill they attempt to collect in error. I don't even deal with them any longer, I just file complaints with the State Attorney Generals office against them and the Clinic. Unfortunately the Clinic and another hospital group owns 90% of the medical providers in my immediate area and the other hospital group is worse than the Clinic.

Ya I'm sure they don't do any thing right for anybody.  Why should they perform a procedure if you can't pay?  Some one has to pay for it!  Be realistic.
