- Cliffwas Best Buy's automated system nagging to shop at their stores again and use my reward card. I've stopped shopping there months ago because they make it a huge choir to price match (I bring in the other stores sale ad or printed from website and they don't believe either to be legit so have to make *several* phone calls). Screw them, I hope they go out of business!

- PattiGot a second call today on my cell phone. I have never walked into a Best Buy. After the first call I was assured they would remove my phone number from their list. Today I got another call. When I called back they couldn't direct me to who called. I let them know that since I work nights I don't appreciate calls soon after falling asleep. I now have a whistle to blow into the phone. I am sure they will remember when they get that response. It is enough for me to make sure I never deal with Best Buy.
- BloombergGot called again by a bot to be reminded that my $5 gift coupons are going to expire and I could also print them online. This is 3rd call. Never give your number at BestBuy.

- LMWas it truly necessary to interrupt my Christmas dinner for a Best Buy reminder????? Geez, you would think they would give them the day off....
- jack lapice| 1 replyWe were suppose to receive a $10.00 off coupon in the mail. We did not
recieve this coupon. The phone call told us to go on line to print coupon
because it is close to expiring.- Caller: Best Buy Rewards
- jack lapice replies to jack lapiceWe received a phone call saying our certificate was close to expiring.
They said if we did not receive the certificate we could go on line and
print it. - James| 2 repliesIn CT and many other states it is illegal for a store issuing a gift certificate to have it expire EVER. It is another form of the buyer's money, and money doesn't expire. Nice of Best Buy to remind that you have one at all, but don't accept expiration if it's illegal in your state for a store to "expire" your certificate and keep the money.
- JPLdidnt answer but after reading this i am sure it is BB calling about the rewards program
- JSR replies to JamesBest buy Reward Zone cert is no a gift card - it is a coupon earned when making purchases at Best Buy. Members subscribe to this program and are (or should be) aware of the programs rules. Laws that restrict expiration on gift cards would not apply.
- JimThey have an expiration date on them. My problem is the bait and switch of the program. If you have one for 10 bucks and buy a 4.99 dvd - they won't except them. You must spend more they they are valued at (that is what they told me at the counter when paying). I said no thanks and walked out. I completely understand not giving money back (that makes sense) but no credit or new balance is dumb.
I also hate spending them because their DVDS are way overpriced. 22.95 for a DVD! Same one is 14.95 at target - it is just a waste but whatever. To save enough rewards for a video game for example in the amount of time (before expiration) is very difficult. - Rick replies to FrankPlease call...610-363-1465 about rewards..
