Same message from Beth, same 888#.  Wife wanted to call them back because they are leaving messages on home phone and her cell phone.  I'm glad I found this website to convince her not to call them  back.

Beth at Global Services asking me to call her back about a personal issue. I returned the call and they had my name but asked for another person. I told them that if they should attempt to call me again they will hear from my attorney.

Received 2 phone calls (unanswered) within an hour from "Beth" asking me to call her back regarding a personal matter.  I just happened to go to google with the telephone number 888-240-0182 and saw all these comments.

These people have called me several times a day looking for a certain person which is not me.   Even after i told them i was not the person they were looking for, they continue to call.

i just received a call from Beth from Global services  from 7143160360  but I'm to call back 8882400182

"Beth" just called and left a message from "Global Services." The number she left on my VM is: 888 2400182.....I had a feeling about this so I checked online and it brought me to this forum. Thank goodness that I checked in!

I have been receiving about 4 calls a day for over a week, her name is Beth says to call her concerning a personal matter at 1-888-240-0182.

So i put in this phone number because on the VM it said to call this number back regarding personal matter by a woman named beth. She called from a 617 boston area code. so i decided to call back ( even though i know its a spam from reading messages, plus i never took out a pay day loan) . so this man answered and said beth was his assistant.. i said okay. asked if i was who i was and stated my last 4 digits of my SSN, which is completely illegal. so i said yes it is.. and he said in 2013 i took out a payday loan saying it was 200 and its gone up to 700 but can bring it down to 600 possibly even 500 for today or make payment plans and i told him i never took anything out and he asked about identity theft if someone grabbed my ssn and i said i don't think so its almost 4 years later and its not on my credit report and i NEVER received any mail. so i said to him please sent it through the mail and ill look it over and he said that will take 2-3 weeks and could be out of the office by then and i could get consequences happened to me. i told him thats fine ill wait 2-3 weeks for a friggin paper that i know it doesn't take that long to send out. and he pretty much hung up on me. hopefully i don't get more calls

Beth from Global Services calling with local area code 262. Asks for return call re a personal matter. I tried to block number but calls kept coming. Finally sent text to the number provided with "STOP CALLING" Message.

They have been calling me relentlessly, from a 603 (NH) area code.

Very true and the fact that they don't address the 'customer' by name is another huge red flag.

Calls started out of the blue, two times within a couple of hours. Says it's Beth from Global Services regarding a personal matter. Called from a phone # in my area code, but said to call back at 8882400182. Looked it up--SCAM.

Also .... if you do choose to have a conversation with these people, which I would recommend not, just throw out the statement:  "Do not harass me with any further phone calls" during your conversation, and these calls should stop.   The word "harass" seems to be the key.  I had issues with similar phone calls about 4 years ago .... went on for a year with on and off phone calls, from different parts of the country, mainly East coast and I live on the West Coast.  I reported conversations with my local police department, and sadly, there's not a whole lot that can be done, since it's hard to track them down.  They told me by telling them to stop the harassment calls, they should stop.  My attorney advised the same thing.  It worked for me.  These "people" seem to somehow target the elderly as well, which is sad, because they know our seniors can be easily scared and/or talked into divulging personal information.

Yes .... Beth seems to be the West Coast caller.  Just ignore.  You'll regret getting caught up in any conversations with these "people".   Just sharing personal experience ......

They have been calling me a couple of times a day for about a week now. They even call my husband most mornings. I told them to send me a proper letter in the mail with all the information I need to verify this "bill" but obviously that did not happen. I finally just blocked the number. I am sure they will realize I do not intend to give them my money and will go away.
