Called and left same message others have stated, if I owed someone money they would have called me or sent mail to me.  Very suspicious

Mimi...most likely..the scammers come on here to post positive messages which are lies..go with your instincts..they are usually right and I have nailed several of these people..

Mr. spinelli called me too trying to get hold of my ex husband.  Not my prob, I just forwarded it.

Ok so this is a scam cuz I keep great these calls from Mr. Spinellie and now other day I got a call from a Shawn Page giving me a case number with my last four of my social. He said that he tried to take money out of my checking account but it was closed. I only have one checking account that I have ever closed and that was ages ago. I tried to look up the case number and nothing came up so I'm thinking it's bogus. The number they told me too call back was 888-247-3797. Just some clarification on this would be so grateful.

Answered, but the caller hung up.  Called back and heard that it was Armin, O'Conner & Bach, and to hold while a person was reached.  Several minutes later, a message stated that all agents were busy and to leave a message.  As I have no outstanding debt, there is no way this is a valid debt collector.

The person who responded namely Sheri must work for the company because I do believe that it is a scam!!!  they’ve called me twice asking for Marie Brown! Never heard of her!!!. I am sick of Robo calls and scams callers!!

The same caller, Mr Spinelli (no first name), called me with the exact same words as above. This must be a robo-call that's going out to hundreds of people hoping to catch a few takers.

Called today from 727 800 1618 Mr Spinelli calling from the Offices of Arman, O'Conner& Bach said that I am calling about an issue very recently filed in our offices concerning your name and social security number. Now at this point I am not sure if you are of what has been filed here or have received the documentation that we sent to the address we have on file but it is your right to be notified and potentially take advantage of the opportunity to resolve this issue prior to our client filing any claim outside our office......... Office hours were given and the famous call back number 888 247 3797. If you get the call fear not and recommend no return call and block the number. Happy New Year everybody.

Well the least you could do is report them to the proper authorities, links to which were posted on the first page of this thread along with all the other information you need.  Reading will eventually lead to knowledge and in this case, reading would have paid off quite well.

I simply answered "cyber crime division."  They hung up on me really quick, haven't heard form them sense lol

I’m convinced this debt collection agency is nothing but scare tactics. I haven’t seen a single user reference actual litigation taking place. I’ve done research and this isn’t linked to an attorney of any kind.

Same, received the same vm message as above.  Can tell he is reading from a script! Yeah NO!  Not calling back to give any of my personal information - not happening.  Scam and being blocked!  If the have something to contact me about they should know the address and can mail it.  Not happening!!

from the office of Armin, O'Conner & Boch, LLC asking that I call because my Social Security number is listed in a lawsuit, and they need for me to call and settle this situation by making a payment, they are claiming to be a lawyer office. They asked that I call toll free 888-247-3797

Not a lawyer and stating they are is against the law. You should report them to the BAR association in your state and their state. Looks like everything you need to know is on page 1

Yes this is a scam...even if you owe a debt they can't leave messages like they do. They pray on low IQS...IGNORE THEM
