Called me and said I have a warrent for mr arrest for IRS fraud

Got 2 voicemails saying that I was hiding money from the federal government. Uh no I am not

Got 3 calls in the past 45 minutes from this number and when I fianlly answered it a robotic voice said that it is the IRS and that I have committed fraud on my taxes. It does not connect you to a person, it only tells you to call the number back. This is a SCAM!!!!!

I have received two automated phone calls from 888-275-2208, so far, on July 22 and July 23, 2016.

I got the EXACT same phone call just now. Scared the living daylights outta.

The matter at hand is extremely time sensitive and urgent as after audit we found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax which you are Heidi from the Federal Government. This needs to be rectified immediately so do return the call as soon as you receive the message. The number is 888-275-2208. Again 888-275-2208. Thank you.

People do not call this number back 8882752208 or the one that called you ! Its a scam .
I got calls yesterday and today and yesterday they tried to even give a badge number on a recording saying i was going to jail if i did not call i 1 hour report to irs people do not fall victim

I keep getting this call.  My husband and I laugh, during the day, when the phone rings, "Is this our call about going to jail?"  The IRS does not call people.  They use snail mail.  That is why there is an address on your tax returns.

I received the same call. It startled me, but have not committed fraud. Realizing I would recieve actual mail from IRS, I figured it was not legit.

Called me with a record number, called back told me IRS wanted me to verify information I refused, said then I needed to get my act together cause I was going to jail. I told him that he needed to remove my number cause I know he's a scam artist, hung up on me. I called back and answered as Federal Investigation IRS department and I told him not to ever call me cause I know they are scam artist and hung up on me. IDIOTS!

IRS scam they told me I was being sued by them....

They called left a message and stated I'm being sued for the IRS. I called back and was stricken by all of this. They said if I don't pay 15000 then I will go to jail......so I spoke to the "officer on staff" and this guy thought I was the worst criminal ever I've never done any kind of crime. And he laughs at me and calls me a liar and says I cheated the government. Im almost crying cuz this is the first kind of call so I don't kno what to expect. So then the guy laughs and denies that he's laughing then started being belligerent. Don't believe these cats they just want ur money and anyone can find ur address
