I've received the call 3-4 times now. I called back and ask to what company I was speaking to and the girl would not give me an answer.  Does anyone know if this has to do with Monster.com database hack?  They are calling on my personal cell.

Repeated attempts to call my cell phone.I have not answered it.

I think it must be related to Monster. I did not start getting these calls until after I signed up with Monster.

I didn't know the number, but answered anyway. They first asked if there was a Cris here I said yes they asked if I was her...I lied said no. They said they had great news for me. And that they would call back later. Who the hell are they and how the hell did they get my number.???

Go to the donotcall.gov website and report them

I got a post card with the same number from Maggie. I called them and told them that their card was a scam and told them to remove me from their mailing and call list and the guy acted like he was going to do it. I don't know for sure if I'm removed. He could be bsing me.

Did any one sign up for eband search or any other job gimmick because when I did this is when all these weird # started to call

just got the call, and felt suspicious of the 888 prefix. i'm going to avoid answering this number if at all possible. glad for these phone scam sites! but what a drag, its like you cant just answer your phone anymore.

I got the same thing!! I didn't want to call untill I knew what it was about.  It didn't even say who it was or what they wanted.

I have recieved repeated calls, with two voice mails say they had great news and to call back. Finally answered and told them it is a felony to make unsolicited calls to a personal cell phone number. Haven't had another call yet.

im getting calls from these pppl constatntly...how do i stop it!

this number called me multiple times, i finally called it back and asked were they got my number. They said my credit card, yea but i dont own any. I told her to stop calling and she said NO and hung up.

My fiance got the postcard, and knowing how gullible he is, I researched this and found this site, now that I know I will have to see if he has answered any phone calls. Does anyone know how it works? My mom has had to deal with scams before, and had to report them. but i have never heard of one THIS persistant. or one that just needs to validate your phone number. Its crazy.

answered call and listed to the ambient noise of a call center for 2 minutes then right before hanging up they called me by name.  I believe they got my number from ordering the "Fish Pen" online.  The fish Pen is a scam,  after every thing was done it was a 84 dollar charge on my card.  And now I'm getting at lest one call a day trying to give me a bonus gift with a catch.

I've only had my cellphone for 2 weeks and I was getting daily calls.

just signed up with monster too and am getting the same calls... like 8 in the last couple days but only on the weekdays
