- lil in floridaSomeone leaves a message about collecting a debt, but deliberately mumbles the name of the company
- tiny tGot one from this number and they seem to know a lot about me, They made threats about how they would get the debt paid and even threatened my supervisor when they called my job . Luckily my job is understanding and sees this as harassment and has put me in touch with the people i need to talk to. Probably helps that my aunt is a lawyer as well
- Caller: unknown *they never mention*
- Call type: Debt collector
- MikeRude harassing trying to give me family members names
- Caller: Never identified themselves
- DawnMy son received a call from this number the man said his name is RIck Rainho and he needed to speak to my elderly grandmother. My son explained that the person he was looking for was his Great Grandma and the person state my Uncle had give this number as the number of her retirement home. Thing is my Grandma is not in a rest home. He wouldn't give me any details or a company name and when I pressed to see if there are any other names on the account he said no. He had way to much info about my grandmother so I reported it to her children so they could take further action. Very scary what if they had reached her.

From a post I made in 2014
I can find no link between Goldberg, Sloan and Associates and Fidelis Asset Management or Kinum, Inc. However, this is what I have found out about Kinum and Fidelis:
BBB Page for Fidelis lists a NY address which there is an alert out because the BBB could not contact them at that address: http://www.bbb.org/upstate-new-york/business- ... ca-ny-201214723
Fidelis lists an address in Virginia: http://fideliscollections.com/contact-us/ which also happens to be a UPS store: https://www.google.com/maps/@36.759828,-76.00 ... -ew!2e0!6m1!1e1 & note the same suite # at the UPS store on their page: http://virginiabeach-va-4809.theupsstorelocal.com/
The BBB page list Kinum at the same address as Fidelis in VA.: http://www.bbb.org/norfolk/business-reviews/c ... ach-va-90063234
However Kinum Lists a Utah address: http://kinum.com/contact-us/
Which happens to be a company called Base Camp Franchising: https://www.google.com/maps/@40.765421,-111.8 ... n08NWavCb4g!2e0

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
