Just got a call from a "Corey Richter", he left this number with no reference. No idea who it belongs to yet, but I will when I get the ball rolling. Sounds suspicious to me.

Ameritech Colletion company....   Kala just called for our middle child....  Who has not lived with us for over 4 years...  Debt Collection Voicemail Message was left....

they just left a message, not sure who they are calling for but it sounds like a collections call. . .  they didn't ask for a name just said to call before 8p. . . it's certainly not about a job!

A message was left with my supervisor at work to call this number.  When I called, a different person answered asking if someone left me a message.  Seemed suspicious.

They called and are debt collectors.

The message says:

To: Jolly

"Hey, it's Jen calling. The number in the office here is 888-303-3634. Number again is 883033634. I'll be in the office today until about 8:00 or you can reach me tomorrow anytime up till five. Thank you"

I got the same call ( recorded message):

"Hi my name is Melissa and you can reach me at 1-888-303-3634 or 1-920-645-6201.  I will be in the office Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm and 8am - 12pm on Saturday."

Didn't say what it was all about or who she worked for.  I've been getting this call since last week and have no idea who/what it is.  I'm gonna file a complaint with National Do Not Call Registry, my state Do Not Call Registry, FCC and whomever else I can think of.

The number 855-393-0743 keeps calling my mothers residence and asking for me. The funny thing is I have not lived there for over 15 years! They keep leaving messages when she doesn't answer and saying to call back 888-303-3634 before 8 pm. She answered today, and it says that it was a collect call from me! so she stayed on the line only to find out it was not a collect call, but someone trying to get more information from her about some "so-called" unfinished paperwork that needed to be completed by the end of the day or the case would be closed which would not be good for me. She of course did not tell them anything, and immediately called me about it. This number has to be some sort of scam or something.
I keep seeing on other pages that this is a collection call for Americollect for AT&T when I have never had any service through them EVER! I even checked my credit reports and no such information.
If you get this call, do not give them any information.

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER  888-303-3634 AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. There has to be a way to stop this crap. People can lose their jobs this way.And I for one need my paycheck. Who are these people? What debt are they collecting? Ameridebt? I though they wer no longer in business.

Called from 920-482-3695 left message for me to call back LINDSEY at 888-303-3634. Called back 10 hours later and LINDSEY was on another line but the sweet girl who answered could help me. Said they were collections company  wanted my birth date, and/or last four of social security number. HAHAHA.  I did not give it to them, they said it was for my privacy..HAHAHA. and I replied..thats why I'm not going to give it you.  I told them to stop calling me.

This is AMERICOLLECT.  They are debt collectors.

I received several messages from a 902 area code to call 888-303-3634 regarding collecting a debt.
It actually was a valid collection call for a past due medical bill I owed.

I was suspicious when they asked me for my DOB or SSN so I told them I would call them back with the information.  I said that they should have all of my information if it was a valid call.  

I happened to know that I had an outstanding medical bill, so I called the hospital billing office to verify, and they advised me that they did indeed forward my account to the debt collector.

I called AMERICOLLECT back and gave them my DOB and they had all the information about me and the bill I owed.  
I suggested they use another form of identifying the person on the phone, but their reply was that it was for my own privacy.

Same as above,  My daughter has not lived with me for 22 years!!!  How do they get the numbers, seeing we have different last names?????

I received a call on my answering machine at 12:30 pm that just said "this is Patrick Casey, I'd like you to call me back at 888/303-3634. I'll be here till 9:00 tonight or from 8:00 till 9:00 tomorrow (Saturday). They didn't say who they were looking for or what it was about and I will not be calling them back. The number on caller I.D. showed 920/645-6201. When you try to look up on reverse phone look up it shows "Private Caller". I have the capability to block the call but every time I try to do that the stupid AT & T says something like "this call cannot be blocked". I don't know why I stay with AT & T because nothing ever works with that service and yet your bill is "out of this planet". They are useless!!!!

Some Panasonic phones (mine is model #KX-TG2583) have the ability to block up to 20 numbers.  If you need more,, you can add a Caller ID with Ring Controller unit (go to http://www.jfteck.com/caller-id-with-ring-controller.php, then search retailers for a discount price).  They are supposed to work with land lines or VoiP systems like Vonage.

We keep receiving messages from "Pat" on our answering machine and when we phone him back at this number is just rings.  We are not delinquent on anything!  Haven't ran a credit check in a while but sure it is just fine.

These people need to stop calling. I can not recieve personal phone at work. I would love to know how they found out my work phone number.

Received this call as message on office phone, requesting  XXXX call them.  Since they couldn't pronounce the name and we are a business, I called and left them a message: "We are a business, no one by that name works here. We do not give out any information on employees, and as it is illegal in our state to bother people at work, if they call again, they will be reported to police. Also remove the number xxx-xxx-xxxx from their records."
So far, no call backs. Wonder what number they will use next time......

This number called for my little sister who is eleven. Pretty certain that she does'nt owe any taxes or have credit card payments because, like I said, she is eleven. The message said that they were Americollect and to "Call Cheyenne back befor 11:30". It all seems really fishy.
