I get these calls about 2 times a day. they never say anything they just hang up. how are they to collect on a debt if they just hang up? they just seem like harassing calls to annoy people. I to have never banked with Woodforest. It is getting annoying having these hang up calls every day

My husband gets an average of 3 hang up calls from this number every day.  When you answer the phone and say hello there is noone there.  The phone discconnects a few seconds later.  Don't know who or what it is about but we have never used Woodforest Bank.

I just started getting calls from 1-888-317-9490 but every time I answer they or the system hangs up.  Today I called the number back and a woman answered "Simply Good" and when I told her I've been getting calls from this number she said that they did not call me and would notify their phone company...not sure if a line is crossed or what...?

This number called my cellphone this morning at 9:45 a.m and I had a voice mail from them and all I could hear was talking in the background.

After reading through these other complaints I guess it's Wood Forest Bank? I do not have an account with them or have anything to do with them, so as to why they called I don't know.

Nope... I called my friend who is a manager at woodforest.  I'm good.  No overdrafts of any sort.  He told me to ignore the calls and do not give out any info to them.

You obviously work for this collections company !!! Most of the people on here are saying they don't have any bad debit and this company is harassing the wrong people so tell me miss Jessica Splice who is the [***].........that would be Miranda and YOU!!!!!

I received a call today from a unavailable number and I spoke with a Ms. Kole....She was very rude and not wanting to give me any information on her company nor giving me all my options.  I asked if I could have the name of her supervisor and she wouldnt release that information.  I also asked for the mailling address to which she wouldnt release that information either.  I told her that I would love to resolve this issue be before I do I need more information on her company, she got very frustrated and told me that I she was handling my account and continue to ask about my intentions.  I only wanted more information on the company trying to take my money and then she tried to transfer me and left me on hold for over 5 minutes to which I hung up the phone....

i recieved a call from this number and they said i owed woodforest national bank i told them i would take care of it at my bank they told me no i had to pay them in full  i called my old bank and they said i could come in and take care of the balance

This company keeps calling me and asking for my daughter.  She doesn't even live in the same state I do.  They refuse to tell me what they want with her.  And I refuse to give them her phone number.  How do I get them to quit calling?

I had an account with WoodForest and when I closed the account I had a neg balance of 38.00 now this company calls and gets rude with me and telling me the account is 280.00. I am very mad at them.

I just got another call from this number. I'm glad the number lead me to find others that have been annoyed by this number. I'm glad to find out its Wood forest so I can go blast them out for an account that I thought was resolved. Will won't do business with this bank again. Bunch of losers.

Woodforest bank automated robot switch board. You could go through all the trouble filling an mailing,ect.....or you can block the # on your smartphone or cell phone online account....and be done with it. I always screen my calls if i dont know the number. i dont owe any banks any money. Even if i did, i know that i wouldn't let it get as far as a collection agency harassing me anytime of the day. If you ask them to stop, they should. Period.

That's exactly what just happened to me , which is why I'm here

I've had this cell phone for a year and have always got calls for someone named Karen. This is the latest number. Keeps waking me up. I never even heard of this bank nor do I ever give out my cell number to anyone but family. Had to be for that Karen person again.

I was working on my computer when a so called "virus alert" came on and there was a message that my PC was blocked and had to call this nr. I did and man with an hindi(it sounded to me) accent answered and asked $79 for unblocking my PC. I hung up. It is a scam to get banking info from you.
