- GreyW| 9 repliesIt's seekquote.com
Insurance company.- Caller: seekquote.com
- Sushiyama replies to GreyWReceived a call stating I had won a prize from a contest I may have entered at a grocery store, mall or fair. Call me back, my name is Barbera from G.C.M. Thanks for the heads-up GreyW...
- carla replies to GreyW| 7 repliesI have owned this company for 11 years and we do not sell insurance.
We schedule appointments for customers to go to a timehare presentation.
It is not a rip off or a scam. - Savvy Consumer replies to carla| 1 replySince when is a timeshare not a ripoff or a scam? And even given the benefit of the doubt, why do you need to lie to people, to get them to call you back, if you are so honest?

if a timeshare isn't a scam or a ripoff, then why don't you just tell people you're selling timeshares and they can come hear what you have to offer? - Telemarketers-r-scum replies to carla| 1 replyWith so many different kinds of scams out there, thank you for clarifying exactly what kind of scam this is -- a timeshare scam. Ok then.
- Carla replies to Savvy ConsumerI only call customers who have entered a drawing at a mall, sporting event, grocery store, home show, boat show, etc. Why would that be considered a scam?
- Carla replies to CheckTheNoCallListCarla| 1 replyI download the National Do Not Call list on a monthly basis.
If a person enters a drawing, the entry form states they will be called. - Carla replies to Telemarketers-r-scumPlease explain to me why timeshare is a scam? I have owned for over 10 years.............I use it EVERY YEAR! Fail to see the "scam" of it.
- DJBI received a call from this number, and, although I don't particularly like telemarketers' calls, I do NOT consider it a scam at all. I own a timeshare, and have for 8 years. I have appreciated the locations and vacations I have enjoyed. I invested after receiving a call similar to this one, and yes, I DID receive a prize for attending the presentation. If a round-trip plane ticket to anywhere in the continental U.S. can be yours for attending a 90-minute presentation, and you know how to say "No" to the pitch, how can you consider this a scam? Cynicism sometimes impedes opportunities, folks. If you expect to have money shoveled at you for making a simple phone call, you are probably a lottery player, too. Thank you for paying my taxes for me!

- JEWEL| 1 replyIt's true it isn't a scam but a td dishonest with the message that is left. Hi you have won free gifts please call back. So I haven't called yet but if I do will you be sending me free gifts or will I indeed need to listen to a timeshare schpeel in order to actually get something? Yes I did enter a contest and I saw where it says very clearly I would recieve this call so willing accept that. Just want honesty when someone leaves a message.

- GotCallToday| 1 replyGot a call today from this number. I HAVE WON A VACATION! PLEASE CALL RAYMOND!
So, if i call Raymond you damn well better give me a vacation. - MeI have never entered any contest at any malls, fairs, sporting events etc. As I know they tend to sell your info. I got a call from this number saying that it was in response to an entry form i filled out it may have been at a fair, a mall or a sporting event. I know this is a crock of crap. They didn't come out and say I won a prize but they said they drew my name for some great gifts and to call them back. I will not.
- Hunter| 1 replyGot a call from Barbra od DCM; like many of you - stating a prize was won and to call er back at 1 (888) 333-9801 ext 715 to claim the prizes.
I heard something like this on the news - A SCAM.- Caller: DCM
- Call type: Unwanted
- StaciI've received this same message twice in the last week on my phone that is listed on the Do Not Call registry. And I guarantee you, I did not enter a contest at a fair, mall or anywhere else.
- Monte| 5 repliesI got the same message. If it's a time share offer... SAY SO! My message says "you've won a prize." And there's no way they got this number from any drawing - it's my WORK PHONE NUMBER! Grr...
- dnalnn| 2 repliesI, too, have received the same message and KNOW that I have NOT entered into any type of contest. I am on the Do Not Call registry. What gives?
- Caller: Car;a Colwell
- BeckyNo where in the message did it say the word won. The message I got said "I drew your name for a great gift". I'm going to call back and see what my gift is.
- Caller: Carla Colwell
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Becky| 1 replyI just wanted you to know I called them back. My husband and I are going in for 90 mins, without any obligation to buy anything. They are giving us a 8 day 7night cruise in exchange for our time.
- Caller: Carla Colwell
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Carla Colwell replies to Monte| 1 replyMonte - not to be disrespectful but we do not ever say "won". The only way I would know your work number is if you put it on the entry form. Call the office and ask for me and I can do 2 things for you - tell you where you entered & remove your from my database so you will never get a call again.
888-333-9801. The last thing I need is to waste time & money (phone costs, printing costs, labor cost, taxes, L & I, insurance, unemployment, B & O taxes, office supplies) calling people who don't want to be bothered. I am a very small company (15 employees) just trying to make an honest living & keep a few people working.
