robo call says my computer is infected and to call the number 1-888-368-3518, not leaving a name or any ID info.

But not the first time it happened to me, last time was a real human with indian accent : I've answer they are crocks because I don't use Wnidows but Linux !

Spam call - talks about having software installed on my computer that is now infected and to call their number to get it corrected. 1 888 368-3518.

I called them back just to waste their time. Tit for tat. Pretendrd that I was very old.  The fraudster told me my computer was infected. Said I should turn on. Anyway, I called him out on his scam. He hung up. Geez. I was just having some fun.😉

Late afternoon, recorded message saying they had a red flag on my computer for the software they installed last year. Asking me to please call the number. They can't even be bothered to have live callers run this scam anymore?

morning recorded message. My computer was infected and to call to get help with removing the infection.  Recording is a female voice sounding very urgent and anxious. Sounds a lot like the person wanting to help me out with my credit card. I wish this kind of predatory call could be stopped——but apparently that is not possible.

Same as Alex and what I like about this call is it never takes a break inbetween lines. Man that women must have problems to breath later on. Of course something they put on my computer last year and blah blah blah.

I answered the telephone call only to get a pre-recorded message.  The announcement kept stating that my computer has a virus.   The recording stated the virus could be detected because of a program that they had installed on my computer last year.  This is totally false!!!  They requested that I call their phone number:
1-888-368-3518.  These callers are scammers who would probably try to access either your personal electronic device or computer to steal all the personal information on it.

The scammers have changed their message, now they say Microsoft has been ordered by the government to close down and they want to refund me money if I will give them my credit card number for deposit. They think everyone is stupid.
