Thief attempts to get your credit card number |||||||| to steal your money

Of course, it is a scam and a robo caller.  When CID shows Out of Area OR Toll Free Call and POS hang up after the 2nd ring, it is a sure fire sign they are POS scammers making robo calls to see if they can catch a big fish !!!!  POS think we are as stupid as they are and will answer their stupid call.  We used to pay $190 monthly to AT&T and now we are paying $220 monthly.  But we are the ones who have to screen incoming calls and then we have to post messages for everyone else to be aware of these POS.  To add insult to injury, we have to listen to the inept, incompetent, moron, stupid, nincompoop AT&T CEO, Randall Stephenson, whine, moan and complain … there is nothing we can do, blah, blah, blah when AT&T and all the other phone companies that exist are happy to allow these POS robo callers open new accts day in and day out.  Every time we block one POS robo caller, they spread like fleas and call us from another number.  Panasonic Call Block on high alert.  Hell is will be too comfortable for these POS.

Got a robo call. Didn't get the whole message, as it started somewhere in the middle. No virus though, something about giving me money as the company had been ordered to close down.

Same here. Computerized female voice stating I’m due a refund, and to call back.

They keep calling my FAX machine but never send a FAX. :(

Robocall says the company has gone out of business and they may have a refund check for me,  They did not say the name of the company, just to call them back.

Yep. Says the government ordered Microsoft to shut down and want to give me a deposit back. Wow. Microsoft shutting down? I better sell my stock. lol. Will these crooks ever stop? How stupid they think people must be.

Called to say that the money I had paid a couple of months ago was to be refunded because microsoft was closing their technical support department.  I never pay anything to anyone that I did not do business with in person unless I contact them first for a business transaction, and knowing that I never contacted these people leaves me with only one conclusion: THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!!

Said my computer was infected.

I got 2 messages stating that I'm owed a refund because the company was ordered to shut down.

I got a call from 1-888-368-3518 saying my computer has been paid for so I know it's a scammer if you don't stop calling my home phone I will email the ky attorney general's office & I will report you to the KY attorney general's office & to the FTC & the FCC & I will press charges against you

It appears that you were "chilling out" too much since the number that called you 18337314160 looks absolutely nothing like the number at the top of this page 888-368-3518.  Maybe time to cool it on the chemical substances?
