Robo call left a message saying that they have money for me as the company has been ordered to close down. Course they don't mention what company it is.

Same as above, infected computer.

Message says that they need to refund my money for a recent repair to my computer because "the company"
will be closing.  They don't give the name of the company.

Same as above. Scam. Blocked related numbers so now a new one to block.

ROBO CALL - "Cathy Jackson from Microsoft refund department" I am due a refund on my software before they shut down - need to call this number right away!
Caller: 1-888-368-3518

Received a message from 888-368-3518 stating that Microsoft Services has gone out of business and they need to refund money and so to call the number immediately.  The scammers have gotten so lazy they now use robot voiced recordings to do their dirty work.

Got two "female voice" recorded messages in a row on my landline answering machine today saying they were from Microsoft and were ordered to shut down and wanted to refund my money, blah blah blah....... said to call 888-368-3518.  They call once or twice a week lately.

Robocall leaving message they want to return money as Co. was ordered to close.

Same here.  Very garbled.

Scammers.  Come on govt, you should shut these numbers down within an hour.

Partial (and 'glitchy') robocall message about refund.  This message has been left before by different numbers, with the same Caller ID.

Robo started talking b4 my machine even finished  it's message. So, I don't hear the entire scam, they want a call back at 1-888 #, I blocked the call..

I’ve read some of the comments about a person’s computer being infected, but they evidently have decided to switch it up a bit because now, the robo call says:  “We are calling to refund your money because the company has been ordered to close down.”  Who is “we”?  What is the name of the company being closed down?  And what money did I supposedly spend or invest in this company?  These scammers are vague and silly.  Please don’t give them your credit card or checking account numbers to ensure you receive your refund.  Protect yourself!

scam-they said that Microsoft had been ordered to shut down & to call them for refund. this is 2nd time they tried this.

It is the incredibly laughable text to speech "Kathy Jackson from Microsoft Refund department who wants to refund the money paid for technical support for a company that is going out of business..  Please do not hang up."   OOPS  :)

Just got a call from them.  A guy with a very heavy Indian accent said that I was owed a refund from $299 I had paid for Microsoft support last November. He said that his company used to provide that support for Microsoft, but that they no longer do, and that I was owed a refund. When I told him I never paid $299 for any Microsoft support, he hung up on me.

The same as the above.  That the Co. I had to protect my company was going out of business and I had a refund due. I did not return call.
