We receive these faxes advertising 877-248-5591.  This is a scam about travel to Disney for $146.  The fax removal number 888-393-1379 is also a scam they do not remove your number.  This has been going on for over 1 year and the government is doing nothing about it.

    Fake "resort" vacation deals

Would you trust a company that uses spam faxes and fraudulently makes their faxes look like they are officially from your companies HR Department?

I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

888-393-1379 is the common fax removal number for 888-267-8675, which is a brand new number from H.R. Department, fitting the pattern for the daily fax scam for cheap vacation scams, and this one uses "Reservation code:  NEWPORT102".

They now have a new "Reservation Code: FIVESTAR148"

I called them to have this fax number removed.  They are being sent to a personal fax machine at a house of an elderly woman i take care of.  They come in at all hours of the night and wake up this woman.  When i called they yelled at me and cursed awful names at me.

I almost laughed.  They must receive a lot of calls to ahve the number removed.  Even though i called, she still recevies the faxes.  We just changed her fax number with the service provider.  Hopefully they dont obtain this fax number :)

Every once in a while I get really irritated and send them a note back with their fax and all the pages that went whit it. The next day I just get 3x the amount I was receiving before. They just [***] your number out to other people. It's not worth it.

Use their faxes as scratch paper or recycle it. As far as I know there is nothing that can be done.

Regarding the near free trvel robofaxs:
I called the Federal trade Commission at (877)382-4357. They take the phone numbers for general reference and only advise that I not call the number  on the  fax or the number for unsubscribing my fax #.

They apparently feel that since the incremental cost of sending these faxes is zero, one sucker in a million represents an excellent return on their investment, so they will go on forever.

    Douche-bags at work again.

Are they that stupid that they think people will fall for  a 6 day/5 night stay at a 5 star hotel in Cancun for $99 (a saving of $3000).

I guess that they think it will work because they send the scam faxes as "Memo from your HR department"

Hint - WE DON'T HAVE AN HR DEPARTMENT morons !

Keep in mind that telemaggoters tend to target the elderly and other vulnerable people. I think calling them stupid is extremely harsh.

    Again
You REALLY have to wonder about these morons.

Do they really think that someone would fall for a spam fax that says it is being sent from the "HR Department".

I laugh every time I see these...I can't believe that these guys are such idiots !!
