- timi got them.
- timthey said they would cancel and refund. Still don't know what it is for. Still filed a complaint wtih my bank.
- bobTo the porn guy. yes i by porn, but never, ever on this account. I called and it took about 3 min for them to answer, and they said it would be canceled. I don't even us the same information they ask for. So that can't be it.
- JamesWow! I got nailed this morning with EIGHT charges from these people. Somehow they managed to get ahold of my debit card & hit my checking account. Same story, when I called the number, I got some guy with a vaguely asian accent - can't place it, but then again, I'm sure they worked at finding people without strong accents. He kept saying they would refund the charge & I had to repeat multiple times that it wasn't just one charge it was 8! I got a confirmation code from him about the conversation, not sure what good that will do. I called my bank's fraud department & reported it, threatened to walk away with my money if I actually got charged. Luckily the guy on the other end of the phone was very understanding & disabled the card, disputed the charges for me, & even put the money back into my account until whatever it is company that is scamming decides they will refund my money.
- TJI received the same charge on my hvfcu visa debit card and called the number; same nonsense - online services that handle cancellations. The woman kept talking in circles and I could barely understand her to begin with. Of course, my bank is closed today in observance of the holiday; I pulled all the $ out of my acct & will call 1st thing tomorrow morning to cancel my card. It's pretty scary...maybe better to stick to cash!
- TroyHave the same charges on my account, one for 39.87 and one for 38.99. Called the toll free number and talk to the people. All I got was the runaround, they could not tell me what I purchased. I demanded to know what I purchased talking to a so called supervisor, but they still would not tell me. I told her how could you take the money out of my account and still not tell me what I bought. The super told me they closed the account and I should get a refund. I told her there will be no should about it. You have one day to refund me. I will update with any info.
- Ms Patton replies to awsomeI too have had this issue with this same company. There was a charge of 38.99 posted on my account. When I called twice, there was a person who answered who did not speak English well.
They refused to inform me of what the company was, why the charge was there (except that it was for a subscription). They told me over the phone that they would refund me, stop the charge, BUT NEITHER ONE HAPPENED.
I went to the bank as well and have canceled my card and alerted the bank of the unwanted charge to my account. - thomas shine| 3 repliesi have got the same problem about me they take 38.99 $ from my credit card i canceled card tday but they made it 28th june i thing its the same day other people what can i do about that and can i take a refund ? anybody know something about that ?
- Tim replies to thomas shine| 2 repliesI called the 800 number and got through to someone from "Web Services." He would not tell me what services they provide without a first and last name. I hung up. Do not provide them with any more of your personal info. Call your bank right away and cancel your card and file a dispute report. This is probably a good time to check your credit report from all three bureaus if you haven't already.
- Wifey replies to Tim| 1 replyIts probably some sort of a sex/porn site. It came up on my husbands credit card that is linked to our joint account and I discovered he has signed up to various adult sex sites.
Did I say husband...I mean soon to be ex-husband. - Bel$38.99 charge to my account as Online Pymnt 888. Went to the bank and even they had no luck when they called this company trying to find out who or what company this is. I recommend everyone in America to call this into the Better Business Bureu. (spelling).
- Caller: Online Cancellation Services
- Hohoho replies to WifeyWhile it seems like the best explanation, there have been several people who confirmed that they don't sign up for porn sites at all, or with the affected cards/accounts. I'm another one of those people and had my debit card canceled today and hopefully the charges refunded.
- CanadianguyI called my bank and they told me they wanted a letter from them and stuff, I told the guy it's a scam he will not help me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RBC OR VISA THEY ARE TERRIBLE.

- thedude| 1 replyWas anyone else in GA shortly before this happened? I'm curious how our information was collected, and there must be a commonality of some kind.
- Caller: scam

- Timothy replies to thedudei live in GA. what do we have in common? read my other post.
- thedude replies to TimothyAfter reading the entire thread I'm afraid the only thing we all have in common is a mutual hate for the people doing this. It seems more likely that they are guessing numbers and charging them, or they have purchased credit card numbers from hackers, CC company employees, etc. and are using an online "company" to fence the money from your account to a little house on stilts in the Philippines. Crap thing to have happen, but i got lucky and my bank was more than willing to help before the charge even went through. Don't call them and cancel your card number immediately.
- adam replies to ReeseI have the same charges on my card also. I made a purchase on ps3 network, everywhere else that i have been too has been fairly local. I am Just wondering if anyone else has had these charges after using a credit card on the ps3 network.
- HeyYouMyLoveI had the same thing happen to me on June 27, 2010 and the money was credited back without me calling. Well guess what? The SAME thing happened again this past Sunday and they took a total of $118 (about three charges of $38.99) from me. My bank said I could not dispute it until it posts to my account. I'm canceling my whole account and getting a new one. These people are RIDICULOUS!! I hate this. I'm unemployed so $118 is a lot of money to me right now
- HeyYouMyLoveOh and I forgot to add last week on June 27 it showed up on my account at "WEB PROFIT COACH" this week it showed up as a 1-888 number. I Googled "WEB PROFIT COACH" and it's a huge scam! People saying they ask for credit card info over the phone but I've NEVER spoken w/anyone over the phone so I don't know how they got my information.
