Wanting me to call Microsoft for refund. Don't even have a computer!

On February 21, I got a call claiming I bought something. The company was closing down and I was due a refund. I think it is a trick to get your bank account number and/or credit card information. Please do not be fooled by it.

Received this robo call three days in a row. Problem is, never paid fot tech support as havent had a computer in 12 years. 73yoa. All i need is a smart phone!!! It does the work for me!!

Third call today from these scammers. Two others from Seattle, WA.

My mother received a call from this number speaking of Microsoft working on computer and getting a refund. She was gonna call the tech that worked on her computer. Trying to get her to google everything first before making calls.

Second call, first was on a different number claiming I was entitled for a refund from Microsoft Tech support I purchased since the company was shutting down. Since I never purchased tech support from Microsoft I knew that it was most likely a scam/fraud call. Message on answering machine was very poor quality and hard to understand.

Call on landline from 1-888-402-9182 on 2/20/19. Caller ID said "Toll Free" with same female robocaller scam. Reported to Do Not Call complaints website.

Problem is, I'm a MAC user...... duh......

This is a RANSOMWARE call. Do not fall for it. No company out of business would refund you anything. And, MS is not going out of business any time soon.

Same message as the others. This is a scam. All they want is your bank info to refund your money.........NOT! They want your bank info to steal your $$$. Don't fall for it.
