I keep getting various calls over months- The last 2 days for a Roberto Colon who last name is nothing like us. Other calls for other people. I called them back today & got a firm that calls itself Brendan & Wiseman with a complety snot nose woman. She said she took our name & number off this list of whoever I imagine owes money. I aske dhow this number was given to them & she said she does'nt know. When I asked for her supervisor she said there was none. They are their own boss-the woner was out. Be aware whoever gets these place they are a boiler room as to all that noise in the back. I tol dher she needs a job such as working on a Wal-Mart cashier line not talking to people let alone people who dont owe anyone money.

I am on the do not call list both for our landline & cell. It does'nt matter anymore they the scum of the earth has found ways around it. In fact I had heard that the government (ours) will pay $50,000 to whoever can find how to stop these calls . Apparently these calls & others have gone up some 50% in the last 2 years. Most to take advantage of elderly peolple.

Talked to some bimbo at a collection agency that does not exist in the United States. I told her to send a letter or certified letter for the person she is asking for. She didn't even have an address. Tells you all you need to know.

This is a SCAM organization. They somehow get actual names of deceased relatives and pretend the deceased or spouse or relatives owe their collection agency money. They use the false lie of being a "pre-trial investigation agency".... which is a loser collection agency that has ZERO legal authority in any court. I know, I worked six years for a collection agency in ever department including the attorney's office for big dollar collections.

These people are just looking to scam you of your social security number and any money they can get from you. They do not exist. They do not give you their address. No way to file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Feel free to LIE and claim you are the person they are asking about. Do NOT give out any social security number or last four digits.

Keep receiving phone calls for former son-in-law from 20 years ago...amazing!!!  Return calls and never get a lperson, always a "leave a message" for a return call and to let them briefly know about why they shouldn't be contacting me. Going to report them to State AG Office.

Received a call in regards to a lawsuit for 2 weeks. Call and always get a voice message. They provide an access code of 4062138.

While on vacation several calls were made to my answering machine for my x-son-in-laws sister.  Others were answered by my house sitter with silence or the same message on the line.  I was upset because there is no reason for the person they are seeking to be connected to my phone number.  The first time I called to find out what was going on I had to leave a message.  Later I called again and Mr. Price told me he didn't need my attitude and hung up on me.  Angrier than ever I called again and Keith apologized and seemed nice enough but would not tell me how my number was put on their list as a contact.  He said they work for many companies and receive the information from them......another time he said my number was listed as a place she once lived......NEVER!!  If that is the case the police need to be involved and that will be my next call.  I think they search out anybody that has ever known a person with the same last name they are looking for and harass them until they get a response just so they can be snotty to somebody.  Mr. Price needs to lose his job.  Reporting them probably won't do any good and I can't imagine these tactics are ethical but since they seem to hire very abrasive jerks they might not have any ethics to start with.  Maybe it's just time to cancel my land line.

I have recieved numerous messages from this number.  I called back referencing the file number and they would tell me nothing, so I told them nothing.....they called off the last 4 numbers of a social, and I told them I had no idea what they were talking about.  Guy sounded very shady and was trying to talk quietly.  Said his name was Jose.

Go to the National Do Not Call Registry and list all your phone numbers and you can also make a complaint there and the phone number for them is 888-225-5322. Once you register it takes 30 days to be effective. Also call the FTC and file a complaint with them as it is a scam! Their number is 877-382-4357. I made a complaint with FCC which is the Do Call Registry and today I am filing a complaint with the FTC.

got a random call today saying I was going into a class action case. Then he told me he would slap the [***] out of me and I have now received 4 phone calls in the last 10 minutes, threatening me. How do I stop this? I do not owe a dime to any sort of collections!

They have left automated messages daily looking for my 45 year old brother who lives in SC and I live in RI.
It makes no sense. I'm adding this # to my do not call list!

Now, EVERY DAY, after 6 rings, I get this message -
"This message is for Al Murphy Redmond.  This is the office of Brennan and Weisman who have been hired to do an asset and liability investigation on Al Murphy Redmond.  Contact the office pre-legal department to resolve prior to litigation at 888-926-0934 and reference file number 4093411.  This is a time sensitive issue that needs resolved."

(Just Google Brennan and Weisman; they won't let me link from here.  B&W appear to be another NCO Financial.  They try to collect on ancient, unproven, statute of limitations expired debt of people who you don't know, by beating you senseless with harassing robocalls.  Since they are unresponsive, they need to be executed by the FTC.)
