I, too have been receiving multiple calls from 888-419-9409.  I have a phone system with which I cna block these calls, but I still get one ring, so I know how many times daily I am being called.  I just got off the phone with AT&T.  I was told that AT&T will never give you a number to call but will transfer your call to another department.  I still registered a complaint so that IF this number is associated with a telemarketing service that has gone 'rogue', they can handle it internally. This is more than likely yet ONE MORE SCAMMER attempting to rob unsuspecting individuals!

Call at 9:21am does not leave message.

CALLED 7:50 PM WASHINGTON STATE. HUNG UP SAID NOTHING. SCARED MY KID WHO THOUGHT IT WAS ME......INTRUSIVE JERKS! (Just previous to that call there was a person ringing the doorbell & they left. Then there were people walking by our window 4x which is odd. Then the call came.)

Are you upset? This is why there are thousands of these reports. It is funded mass harassment. Google Mind Control or Electronic Harassment. It's widespread. I think it's the NSA trying to get information on me.

I recently changed over from Comcast to AT&T.  Since transferring from one horrible company to another, I now get calls from 1-888-419-9409 numerous times a day.  If I don't answer the phone, they do not leave a message, if I do answer the phone, they just hang up on me.  However, when I called the number back, it stated it was AT&T U-Verse.  They give a little shpeel and then give me a message to leave them a message.  I really have nothing more I want from them aside from them to leave me alone and stop calling.

When I called the number back today and was told to leave a message, I asked that they please remove me from their list of folks they call several times each day.  I have also left a message on my home phone number that if someone is calling without an identified number, I WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE, so please leave a message and if I feel it is necessary to call them back, I will.

I got a call. They just held the line and hung up. Caller ID:  Unknown. When I called back a robo said AT&T, didn't sound like a professional call. No presentation or greeting. A part of a message and was directed to press certain numbers.

This is not AT&T calling you it's someone else trying to get your personal information.

The people call 2 to 3 times a week, I dont answer, no message. I have read comments saying its AT&T which  is annoying as I already have their service, not only do they call but constantly send emails, every day with different offers

Calls all the time several times a day.  Have never answered so don't know who it is or what the want.  Total nuisance!

This might be a scam because AT&T doesn't make these calls. They might be trying to get your credit card information and address to scam you out of your money.

Called me at 7:24 P.M. in CA- left no message & caller ID said TOLL FREE CALL

This didn't show up on my Vonage call activity list, either. Since most of you have said it's AT&T I just might answer it next time since I already have U-verse. I will get as much info from them as I can & then call & complain!

This was a missed call. No message was left. Thought I'd ask around . Just curious .

I agree with you. If I need or want something I will find it by myself. I do not need any calls to my cellular or home phone.

I received the call from this number a few days ago. I did not answer but I reported to the DNC. Hope they will do something about these calls. Thanks for all the information you are posting here. That way I learn about those annoying calls.

Most of us have said it's either a scam or debt collector. I'd suggest you don't answer and block the number. Call AT&T and they'll tell you it's a spoofed number and not AT&T.
