calls but no message

get at least 2 calls every day and it is very annoying.  We are on the DNC listing but they still get through

yes, this number is hired out to a company marketing for at&t. It is very annoying and they won't stop calling. I 've registered on the national do not call list as well as thier call list suggested when you call the number back. report to the better business bureau.

if you call 1-888-419-9409 and listen to the message, at the end you can leave your name an number to be placed on their do not call list

I don't answer the phone when caller-id just says "TOLL-FREE CALL".  So, I googled it today, and found this page.  Pretty cool.  I'm favoriting this page!

Anyway - I felt it would be safe to call them back.  The recording said "If you wish to be put on our do not call list, please leave a message with your phone number including area code."  I did so, along with the message, "Don't call me anymore!"

We'll see if it works.

They need to know that 9/1/ the rules changed - it will cost em
$16,000.00  if they do it and THAT IS PER CALL. They have to have it from me in writing that I agree to be called.   keep the history then send to the attorney general in  your state,  thats what I'm gonna do....

Every day this week and last this number calls mid morning and afternoon, they do not leave a message. I answered it on second ring one time and nothing, they hung up!  What is up with this, people wasting time and they are a pain and I want it to stop!

I have u-verse and btw - I hate it !   Why do I think this is a scam ?

Call twice a day.  Annpying. I wish it would stop.

Picked up phone and could barely hear what the dude was saying -- it was really scratchy and funky sounding, like a cheap cordeless phone. If it was AT&T, they sure don't have any budget for good equipment!!

Report them! They can't be punished if no one reports them!

You can stop them. Just report them every time it happens. If everyone reported them, they would not be able to stay in business because of all the fines they'd have to pay.

I get a call from them once a week.  They never leave a message.

Call about 4 times a day no message but evening call is after a early riser goes to bed. Very annoying when wakeing us up by this

They have called ten times within last two weeks.  They never leave a message.  Just says toll free number.

Calling to sell U-Verse.I have told ATT numerous times that I don't want U-verse, keep calling anyway. A side note; ATT has contracted with outside sales reps to go door-to-door, in additional to calling you from corporate. The guy that came to our house (REPEATEDLY) last year was a total [***]; managed to sell us in the evening (after two tries)m7c9 while my husband was home, but when the installer told us we couldn't get a good signal and would not be happy with the service, we cancelled and went back to Comcast. GUESS WHO SHOWED UP THE NEXT MORNING TO GIVE ME A HARD TIME WHILE MY HUSBAND WAS AT WORK? Needless to say, I called ATT to complain & they admitted hiring these clowns, but of course they're not actual employees, can't discipline 'em... he did give me a number to complain to if 'John' came back again. And don't get me started on the Ameritech merger. Grrrrr!!!!!
